there are many confortable shoes in the world, why pick the ugliest?

They are too comfy! Definitely comfort over fashion. I've had my chestnut tall pair for years, and only break them out when it's extra cold or snowy outside....keeps my legs warm for the 7 blocks I walk to work from the Metro. And yes, I definitely don't understand the wearing Uggs in the summer thing.

Ugg for uggly. i don't care if they are comfy and warm. bleh, makes your legs look short and stout.

Well, I got a pair for my 21st and they were pretty much the only things I talked about for weeks afterwards. I know they're chunky looking, but to me they're beautiful, and sooooooooo comfortable. I have a tendency to get chilblains (frostbite-ish) during the winter, and they've been such a life-saver. I haven't worn anything else since November.

i don't care for them at all.

I think they are a fashion don't but the are a comfy DO. With my uggs I don't have cold feed anymore in Munich and that was a big problem for me before UGGS I just need them to survive the Sibirian winters here;-)

Not all of them are ugly. They have lots of styles other than the pastel boots.

I have Uggs slippers. I don't wear them outdoors. They are the best slippers I've ever had.

You people don't remember moon boots, do you?

Tried that in high-school - walked a 3-mile round trip to school and back in 3-inch heels. After that had ruined my feet, I switched to flats. If it helps any, I don't wear them in the summer.

If this were true I would be crippled by now. I love my feet and my back too much to suffer for cute shoes.

I THINK THEY ARE GREAT WHEN ITS CALLED IN NYC! However I don't wear them as a fashion accessory. I wear them to school, to the supermarket or driving to my bfs apartment. They are like sweatpants in the shoe version.

i have plenty of cute flats that don't cause me pain and are a thousand times cuter than uggs. uggs are just the easy way out.

I don't care if they are in or not. I love my uggs!! I will never give them up. But I won't wear them in the summer.
