The boots generally run a size big. I actually have a pair in my normal size and one size smaller, and the "normal" sized ones are just a little roomier. If you wear thick socks, it might not bother you.

whatever size you are, just go one size down.
for instance if you're a size 7, then get a 6 if you're a 7 1/2 then also get a 6 |

Hmm... I have a pair of UGGs in my size and they fit perfectly. However, I have wide feet. Also, I only wear mine indoors so I'm not bothered about the boots looking big or not... I dunno if that's something you're concerned about.

Can you go to the store to try the Uggs on before ordering them online? The classic boots tend to run a size smaller. The sheepskin will be fluffy at first but will eventually flatten leaving more room in the boot plus the suede will stretch a bit.

They definitely run large... I normally wear a 7-7.5, but my UGGs are a 5!

Zappos has free shipping even for returns although ordering two sizes will take up room on your credit card. Again, Classics tend to run big, so get a size down. Example: If you're a size 8 or 8.5, get a size 7 in Uggs and a size 8 in Uggs (they don't have half sizes). Better to order two sizes for comparison at the same time.
