Default tory burch flats patent vs leather?
I just got 2 pairs of Tory Burch olivia flats. one in black patent and one in white leather. I already size up these shoes 1/2 size bigger, but when i tried to walked in the black patent, it totally kill my feet eventho i already put insoles. End up with blisters on my pinky toe. However, the one in white leather fits nicely and very comfortable. My question is, are Tory Burch's patent flats normally painful to wear? apparently my 2 friends who got the same pair of the black patent are having the same problems too! Is this normal? How about the patent reva flats? do they hurt as well?

The different leathers and fabrics of TB Reva's will definitely fit and feel differently! The plain leather is softer and more supple than the metallics or the patents. Also, I personally believe that some particular pairs just *happen* to be sewn looser than others. I bought a pair of metallic golds last year that totally killed me! The edge of the shoe cut into the top of my foot and the medallion pressed on my toe joint. I sold them on ebay. Today, I tried on a pair in black leather in a local boutique and they fit beautifully! (And yes, I bought them.)

i have 3 pairs of reva flats, and they feel different. (picture attached)

the most comfortable pair is the plain leather one.
the grey snakeskin pair is not comfortable to wear and i also have the problem of the medallion pressing onto my toes.

i have 3 pairs of the Tory Burch reva flats. i have 2 leather ones, and they are so comfortable, my other pair is the patent leather, and i tend to notice that being in the patent ones for a long period of time the material rubs on the side of my foot causing it to hurt. i recommend the leather ones, they are so comfy.

My plain brown reva in regular leather is very new and when I tried to wear them around the house, the thread on the front rubs the sides of my foot. Is this normal? Will it go away after it stretch?

I'm having the same exact problem! I've been trying to stretch mine by wearing them around the house with socks on. It seems to be working.

As far as the patent leather revas, I found them to be super stiff and very uncomfortable on my feet. I bought them in black patent and ended up exchanging them for the regular leather.

mrsDIY88 - I absolutely love your zebra print revas!! Are they comfy?

Thank you mrsDIY88 and jsc66 for your posts. Now I don't feel so crazy! Or sorry that I originally had a bad pair and then sold them to someone on ebay.

It depends on how loosely or tightly sewn the elastic at the back of the patent leather is. I have three pairs of Reva patent ballerinas and only the pair that is more tightly sewn hurts a bit. But it stretches over time so no problem.

Default Regular leather gave me blisters
I bought the regular black leather Reva flats and I can't wear them more than 30 minutes without multiple Band-Aids across my toes on my right feet. I got a very large blister on one of my toes so I quit wearing them altogether. They fit just fine on the sides and in the back, so I know I have the right size (10.5), but will any amount of stretching make these wearable? My right toes naturally curl into an arc, like when you're gripping the top of flip-flop shoes.

I'm thinking about returning them (which makes me so sad because they're gorgeous!) but does anyone have any toe pain-alleviating ideas before I do? I already bought them in a slightly larger size just for my right feet toes and am wearing an insert in my left shoe (the 10 fit the left foot better).

Thanks for any help!

I hate to say this because I'm a huge Reva fan but some shoes are just not made for everyone. Could you go up a size? Otherwise, I would start trying to find that perfect flat that's both cute and doesn't hurt. Shoes that hurt are miserable!

My patent revas are killer on my pinky toe as well and I'm hoping they'll stretch out as I break them in. I did try on a pair of leather ones and they were so comfy that I was tempted to buy them.

im not sure if this would help the patents but i just got my reva's in brown leather 2 days ago and the sa suggested i go 1/2 size smaller because she said they do stretch out. i told her that it feels snug on my toe area and she said it will stretch out. she gave me a "tip" on how to stretch them faster though... she said to rub some alcohol on the inside toe area... or where it is snug for you... and wear them immediately. she said it will stretch faster. i havent worn them yet though so im not sure if its true but she said thats what she did and it worked for her.. she is also a 71/2 and she got her reva's a half size smaller.

I have the Reva's plain black leathers and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I accidentially got them too big, much too big actually and wore them before I could return them. My biggest complaint is the elastic on the back digging into my heels, but it only bugs me sometimes. I'm planning on picking up a pair of the metallic silver soon, and I hope to get a smaller size.

I also have a pair of the Kitty peep-toe wedges and they are so uncomfortable. The leather cuts into my big toes and the soles have zero cushion at the heels. As a result, I never wear them and I'm sad, cause they are so pretty!
