I love love OTK boots, but since I'm super short (5') I'm scared of trying them on. Any recommendations for shorter girls (with shorter legs)?

I even took a pic but i dont publish it because i tried them on with a mini skirt and it's kind of hookerish (couldn't try them on with jeans, because Zara ones look awful on me - im between 2 sizes) I need to go back wearing skinnies so I can see how they look with them.
Oh k i just bought a pair of thigh highs and i'm thinking about taking them back. i am 5'5" and when i wear a mini skirt i look i have long legs and thats with anything short...problem is that i don't know what to wear with my thigh highs if i dont take em back can someone help me out!!!!

i actually tried a pair on (chloe - the pointy toe 4" heel one...w/ lace at the back). that day i was wearing a dress (above knee)....i think it made me look bit hookerish...so i walked away. i also tried the flat one (above knee as well)...i don't know...may be i wore the wrong thing to try on the boots. i am 5-7..my legs aren't short.

I purchased a pair of Stuart Weitzman thigh high boots (the Hihos) and they're amazing! I'm only 5 feet and they fit like really well and super comfortable for a 4" heel. It has a slightly rounded toe and it has a clean line with no laces, buckles, or designs...so attention grabbing but not in a flashy street walkerish way...lol...I think it really elongates the legs - if you're petite, go with a heel thigh high. I just find that a flat thigh high just makes short girls look really short. Anyways, personally I recommend the Hihos for anyone - tall or short. btw, posted a pic of it in the new shoe purchases thread...

I have the Hiho's too! I am 5'3 and they are the best OTK boots I've found. I've worn them with dresses, and over jeans and leggings.

^I went up half a size because I find the toebox of the boot to be quite narrow. So they are basically tts but narrow.

I'm 5'3, very petite with short legs and the Zara suede thigh highs look great on me! I think they look the least flashy worn with black leggings because it's harder to tell where they come up to with black on black...agree with posters who said wear them with skinnies as well. I personally think you can wear them with a bodycon dress as long as you have a longish boyfriend blazer or something similar over the dress at all times

Zara Just slouch them down a little bit and they're perfect!
