I finally went to go to the San Francisco store. I'm so glad I went, it puts my mind at rest, I don't have to pine for the Brown/Gold Python Sandals...First off, they only have 2 out of the 6 styles in the store - the Black Patent & Leopard Spicy. That was it, they didn't carry anything else! The Leopard is sold out. I did try on the Black Patent Spicy. They're beautiful shoes, but they're half a size too small for me, so my foot was kind of squished in it! Anyway, the Brown/Gold Pythons are the ones I'm smitten with, they never carried them at the store & they cost way too much $$$ for me! For those who want the Black Patent Spicy, they have a 36 1/2 left. They're selling for $1800+, plus tax. I don't think they have any larger sizes. I'm really glad I got to try these shoes on, they're everything I expected - beautiful & of the highest quality!

meggyg8r, I know what you mean, the bags make me drool too!

Oh no! Where did this thread come from?! I completely missed it.

I have absolutely lusted and pined for a pair of these shoes like some sort of crazy woman. I loved them the second I saw them and still do.... but £1000+ for a pair of these? the ones I want are closer to the 2k range, I just don't think I can honestly justify, or afford for that matter, the price. Don't get me wrong I REALLY love these, but if they were just a couple of hundred pounds cheaper in the £700 - £800 range I'd consider it. So no thanks Lv... unless they go on sale () I will have to go and spend my money elsewhere :(

However ladies thank you for posting all of these beautiful pictures, it's been great to see a few modelling pics and see what they actually look like on!

I'm also curious to know what outfits you've been pairing these shoes with? Honestly if I owend a pair I think I would be wearing them at EVERY opportunity lol

Good for you! I'm not surprised the SF boutique only had two pair. The leopard just didn't do anything for me. My boutique also had the "plain" pair of Sandals that are a "mere" ~$800, but are blah compared to the others. I just saw another picture of yet another celeb on the LV forum wearing the beautiful Bordeaux Suede Sandal. THAT is why they are not in the boutiques - the celebs have them. I'm glad they are everything you expected - this is a substantial sandal! I thought I was off the hook with LV this season since I'm not crazy for the bags!

I wonder the stock of sandals in the UK & European boutiques?

Welcome to the club! I fell in love with these shoes as soon as I saw a picture of them! I know what you mean, these sandals are $$$! I wish they would go on sale, but LV never goes on sale! But we can still enjoy and appreciate these beauties here!

Yeah, I really think the UK has a lot more choices & stock available! The sandals are showcased on their web site, but not the US. The SA told me they have very few of these shoes in the US. I also saw a couple of the watered-down versions of the Spicy sandals in the SF store. I didn't even try them on because they look so "plain"! I totally concur, I think the celebs are the ones who get the "spiciest", hottest sandals!

I think that they are ridiculously overpriced. For goodness sake, they are shoes! I am all about shoes and bags, but these have no staying power. For that amount of money I would rather invest in a good quality, timeless handbag. These scream early 2009. By summer they will be over. I bet Steve Madden already has his knock-offs ready to release.

Ditto! I'll take one of each!

satinchic20, unfortunately LV never goes on sale! These babes are very hard to find, most of the sizes are already sold out!
