Found some more pictures of these gorgeous sandals. I love the ones on Penelope Cruz, but they're £2040 (US$3014) on the UK web site!

sara999, I hear you, the price tag is a real killer!

Hi gre8dane & MissPR08, I just came back from the LV store. I'M SO PISSED! I should have listened to you, MissPR08. Guess what? They didn't have one Spicy Sandals there, the SA wasn't even sure what I was talking about until I mentioned Madonna. Then they had to look up the catalogue to see which shoes I'm referring to. To make a long story short, they only have them at the San Francisco store. They don't even have the whole collection, only a couple of styles, he wasn't sure which style!

I'm really disappointed I didn't get to see or try on the Spicy Sandals! I'll try to find some time to go to the San Francisco store next week. I'll try, but what a disappointment! Anyway, one good thing did happen. I saw a bag that I really like - the Kalahari PM! I love its style, detailing & size. Of course I can't get both, but this bag would be perfect for the Spicy Sandals I like!

The TPF curse! We know about upcoming releases & see pictures before some boutiques & SAs do!!!

My SA explained to me unfortunately there is not a large availability of the Sandals in the US, especially in a large variety of sizes. LV did not count on them being popular with the masses and it's too bad. Seems they've made them available for the celebs cause there are plenty of pictures of them wearing the different sandals while there are none in the boutiques.
Take the pictures with you. Also, someone told me they saw Sandals at the SF boutique, not sure which ones. Be sure to let us know what styles the boutique has & their sizes, please, if you remember!!
The Kalahari is beautiful IRL. Not a bag for me but I can definitely admire it on an LV lover. Good luck!!!

BTW, You have get the Kalahari, i have it and love it. I paired it with some CL' s yellow slingbacks, they look lovely together.

I'm surprised the SAs are so uninformed about their products. I guess because they don't have the shoes at that particular store, they just don't know about them. But that store is not in the boondocks, it's in Palo Alto, California, at the Stanford Shopping Center. One would think the manager would brief them on what's hotthis season. It was a wasted trip for me yesterday, and a long drive too!

I'll try to find some time and go over to the San Francisco store this week. I just wish I'd gone to SF yesterday and not wasted my time with Palo Alto. Yes, I really like the Kalahari PM, but I just bought a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood shoes and a Chanel bag, I shouldn't be buying anything at all!

Oh me-oh-my, so you're the one with the Kalahari PM & Yellow CL Slingbacks! I remember that picture, and my first response was what a beautiful bag & shoe combination! I just splurged on a pair of shoes and bag, so I have to be good for a while. I really like the Kalahari PM, it will be on my Wish List. Let's see how the Spicy Sandals go...

The SA called the San Francisco store at Union Square. So that's the one I'm going to. The other 2 stores are smaller ones inside a department store. They're within walking distance. So I think I'll be okay. I'm not really letting my hopes up. The SA told me they only have 2 styles there. So, we'll see...

~Fabulousity~, aren't they gorgeous? I just love them!

these are such fun shoes... wayyyy outta my price range, but doesn't mean I can't drool about them, right??!

sinful I'm not surprised the SAs know less about the shoes than us... every time I go into Saks or NM I know way more about the CLs and MBs they are selling--styles, color names, everything really! Guess that's why they call it an obsession

meggy, I just read the ones Beyonce are wearing below cost $3000! They're beyond my price range too! Hopefully, the other styles are lower! I'll see what I can find at the SF store!
