Default Lanvin sneakers or trainers.. Any owners??
I have a few pairs of the Lanvin ballet flats but have found myself strangely drawn to the ladies sneakers it must be the cute gosgrain ribbon laces. I did a search but couldn't find any owners or threads. Does anyone own a pair? They are pretty pricey for sneakers at £300-£350 here in the UK, do you think it's a ridiculous amount for sneakers/trainers? I would love to hear your opinions.

Oh here is a pic for reference. This season they are doing satin with a patent toe, wool with a patent toe and a leather version as well...

Hi Syma!

I have many pairs of Lanvin sneakers (both low and hi tops). I think the women's version are especially cute, with the grosgrain ribbon laces. I think what I like the most about the sneakers is the combination of colors and materials used (patent leather, leather, suede, grosgrain, metallics, and satin).

to be honest i think they're reasonably priced, compared to some other designer sneakers. i have the mens low tops and high tops as well, and for all my low tops i go out and replace the laces with grosgrain ribbon as well.

they hold up well, and cute enough for everyday wear.

^^ Hi Uclaboi, so nice to speak to you again. Of course I just remembered the pic of you with your stunning grey pair and cabat

Onederland, your collection sounds amazing, all my searches seem to bring out their popularity with men, I was just wondering if there are any ladies out there too...

I have a pair of the patent sneakers - black with grey grosgrain ribbon laces.

They're cute, but they haven't been a complete success. They're kind of stiff and the patent hasn't softened (yet) and one grosgrain lace broke first wear.

If I'm tempted to buy another pair they'll be satin, not patent.

i prefer them on men too, i have a hard time with women and trainers, i can barely bring myself to wear mine in the gym (and only IN the gym, i never wear them there or back, they're the ugliest things ever) but the lanvin ones aren't too bad for trainers i guess

o/t allan but i love your floor! i miss my danish floor

they really do, but [practical]are they pine? pine is so so soft, my parents have pine at their summer house and the floors are full of dents [/practical]. i really wanted pine when i redid my place for the aesthetics but decided to go for something more practical
