^--- LOL She's doing great, C! She's nearing the 6 month mark, so we need to make an appointment to get her spayed. Poor girl! She's HUGE now -- a whole 3.5 pounds! LOL She's such a ham and a total love bug. We did, however, discover a quirky thing about her: she hates it when we use the oven! Every time the over comes on, she runs into the den and stays there until the oven's off, even though she's not allowed in the kitchen anyhow. We're headed upstate for some hiking and climbing, and through a friend, we found the loveliest B&B. They're allowing us to bring her -- woohoo! Loubie's first hiking trip!

That's terrible that you think all the shoes out there are matronly or akin to street walker shoes, and all the Louboutins are devices of torture. Yes, some have been known to cause a tear or two, but I'm interested to know which Louboutins you've tried on to come to this unforgiving conclusion, esp. since Louboutin is know for his high heels: aka as your "hooker shoes". They're really not that bad! Give them another try.

Thank you, AllHailTheQueen, Drunky_Krol, dknigh21! And thank you, angelie! I do my darling little Loubie!

Oh my! A whole 3.5 lbs!! Interesting about the oven. It does not make a loud noise,I wonder what it is.
My pup loves to travel, and gets right upset when she see bags being packed. She wants to make sure she goes too and gets very anxious! You guys have a great time at the B&B!!

okay you have enticed me with your charlottes! i nabbed a pair 50% off today, the grey croc-stamped ones. i am in love! but they have NO padding! i'm gonna half to buy some insoles for my poor feet! i hated them...but now i love them. i can't wait to wear them! the grey is such a great neutral and the point is not too pointy so i don't feel self conscious! but...i sneaked them in because it's june 30th. i'm now on ban!

SARA!!!! You naughty girl! You're supposed to be saving for your trip! But they are fab, aren't they? Every single time I wear them, I get compliments. I've paired them with EVERYTHING. They can look classic and tailored or quirky and young -- so versatile! My fave outfits for them so far have been 1) a navy suit -- makes the very conservative suit look so much younger and very authoritative; 2) black walking shorts and a loose silk blouse -- rather Tribeca; and 3) a simple black dress. I must confess they are a little tough on my ankles, but I don't have a problem with the toe area.

They're going to be so so so so fab for fall!

Let's see a modeling shot!

C, it's the darnest thing! We took her to the park this past weekend (working on her walking, which she's taking to like a pro) and she was doing great... until she smelled the grills from ppl's BBQing. She sat and refused to go further. It's gotta be something with the smoke, or the smell of fire or something. Other than that, we've been working on her confidence. We may have gone too far because she's so darn confident now, she swatted a big dog (prolly about 40 or 50 pounds) in the face and growled at it when it came bounding up to me. It's gonna get her into trouble in the long run, so we're working on correctly that.

^--- LMAO I know exactly what you mean! My 'rainy day fund' is severely anemic and has been for a few years, and yet my closet keeps getting larger and larger. Next year, girl. Lotsa luck on your interviews. If you save some of that shoe shopping karma and transfer it over to the job search, I'm sure you'll have a fab offer soon! Good luck!

Well then that must be it, the smell. Sounds like you two have really been consistent with your training, which is not an easy thing to do. I would love to see a 3.5 lb dog swat at a big one! But, as her mommy, I too would have a heart attack!

LOL That 40 pound dog was a little strange. Its owners (BF's friends) recently adopted it and are first time dog owners, so they haven't trained it at all. It came over to me and tested me out -- little did it know, I've been training (and have shown) dogs for a decade. By the end of the afternoon, the dog was trying to get into MY car to go home! LOL Ms. Loubie had a grand ole time playing with this dog (and strangely, shuns dogs her size... so far). Will try to take some video and post on Youtube next weekend for you, C!

Welcome to tPF, shoez! Thanks for your kind comments. My collection is quite inferior to several other members here, so I know you'll have fun browsing!

Do post your first pairs when you get them. What are you eying? And truly, shoes don't have to be designer to make your sing, kwim?
