Yeah, you and me both!

My BF's too darn meticulous -- everything takes forever+a day. Right now, the shoe closet is a converted linen closet that my BF made shelves for (yes, ladies, by hand. Yay! but Ugh! at the same time). It can't house everything so I keep my most used shoes there. Pretty, but a little dark (no lighting) and it's hard to get a full picture to share because I'd have to be INSIDE the closet to see either ends of the shelves, and my cheapo camera can't do that.

So having heard that Anbar was having a sale on their already reduced priced shoes, I snuck out of work early (shhh!) and headed downtown. But by the time I got there, I only had 10 minutes to look around so that trip was a bust. Determined to make the most of the trip, I walked over to Century21 and came out with 2 pairs of uber chic shoes! I'll post actual pictures tomorrow, but here are stock pics:

These Chloes. IRL, they are a much more vibrant color than in the picture.

And these Marc Jacobs. The look sooooooo much better IRL. The straps wrap right up to the ankle very nicely. And the color is indescribable - a metallic pale pink snakeskin that catches the light ever so faintly. The heel is sooooo chic! I rolled my jeans up and tried them on and gasped at how chic they look in the mirror -- totally unexpected. The silver interior is visible and the prism cut of the heel is so interesting.

All told, I paid less than $500 for both! Woohoo!

I've just found this thread! Your shoes are amazing. They're all gorgeous! And those Bruno Frisoni's are beautiful. I would love to see a group picture of your BF's. The thing I love about really high heels is not only are they so pretty but they do amazing things for your legs LOL.

Just adding pics of the MJs. The color's a little washed out (it's closer to the stock photo) because my cell phone camera is crappy, but just wanted to show the pretty heel (it's marked 110mm)!

Thanks, Michele, Liz, Stinas, Sara, Sunny! As you can tell, any new purchase made is on shoes that are completely different than what I already have in the closet. I really can't justify so many similar shoes.

The shoe collection is periodically edited and I have gotten rid of a few fairs since this thread went up. But the resulting funds go towards my Hermes fund -- no new shoes til the closet is in place!!
