Ooooh, I love the distressed black! It's much more interesting than plain one dimensional black. I know you've said that you also want the black harness. I think you should just do the harness in pink, keep the distressed black VS and get the slate also.

Do you already have a black pair of boots? These distressed ones can double for black and grey. The slate is completely different but so versatile. If you can afford it, get the slate too. If you're not in a rush, wait for Sundance to have a sale or free shipping. It comes up periodically. Keep us posted.

I hope to post my plum pics tomorrow!

Kdo The distressed black is growing on me. It's a grey/black color. I'm going to keep it and like you said I will not get a black harness. I would love to get the VS in Slate, but hold on like you said and wait for another mark down. My next purchase will be a campus in saddle or black. Now I was nervous about getting the pink harness and I was SO wrong! The color IRL is gorgeous! I like how the leather looks. I can't wait until you get your PLUM harness!

I have the harness boots in black (I think that's what they're called...the tall ones). In any case, I'd love modeling pics of what people wear with their boots. I love mine, but have only managed to wear them once or twice. Suggestions????

Well, here they are! What do you think? Are they too baggy around the ankles?

^^^ Nice! They look great on you. I like the slightly slouchy look, but if it bugs you maybe you should return them. You should be totally happy with them.

I was looking at the Frye website last night and there are a couple new styles! I was thinking that I wanted a pair of black Engineers but there are 2 new styles that caught my eye- the Cindy pull-on and the Cindy slouch. Now I can't make up my mind!!

Thanks, jess. I think I'm keeping them. I love the two leather textures.

I like the Cindy slouch better. I love the Natural color.
