I love my Fryes

I have the
Veronica Slouch in Black
Belted Harness in Dark Brown
Carmen 14L in black

Also if you want a great deal on Frye boots check on Sundance Catalog here are the links.

The Roving Boots is actually the Heath Boot http://www.sundancecatalog.com/PRODU...ots/48576.html

Veronica Slouch

I forget the name of these frye boots but they are really cute

the slate color is awsome in the Slouch I had to send mine back it was too close in color to the dark brown. If I had the money I would have kept it .

My boots are a size 9M but I normally wear a 9.5M. The black boot fit perfectly but I do wear trouser socks that come up to my knees. If I don't wear long socks, the top of the short boot hips the middle of my leg and actually leaves an indent in my skin!! I think it's always best to try on two sizes of boots just as a precaution - I also do this with most shoes. So, yes, the Frye's seem to run big.

But, when I got the blazer brown in the same size, I had to bring them to the shoe cobbler to have them stretch the shoes in the toe because the brown shoes were a bit snugger than my black pair even though both shoes were the same size. I left it with the cobbler for a few days, and then again for a few days for the stretching and then the blazer brown fit perfectly!!!

Again, these Campus boots are the shortest, so I only wear them with jeans NOT tucked in (don't like that look). But I love that the boot gives me 2 inches in height but has a nice wide heel. I usually wear flats - not into tall shoes, etc. but it's fun to be 2 inches taller!!!

I love the Blazer brown because it's a super dark brown - looks like it's oiled.

Great boots!! I actually haven't worn them in awhile, so I think I'll try to wear one of them tomorrow to work!!!

Thank you
Ashleym
peace43 for your information.
ashleym-- I did check out Sundance Catalog and I really like the Slate color but I really wanted something in black, if I really like the black I will end up getting another pair, but I heard the distressed black can look dark grey, so Im waiting to see . The last boot you were unsure of the name is Paige, I believe. I think that needs to be added to my boot collection but Im sooo wanting campus boots. See, this is the reason I started this thread! I am longing to buy three to four pairs of Frye boots
1 campus boots 14R
2 paige
3 veronicas in slate ( if my black does not look grey)
4 carson pull on boots
The list just keep on growing! lol

I have one pair, the paige cuff boot, and I regret buying them!!! I was able to get one leg through and in but the leather of the other boot (only around the ankle) wouldn't move/stretch enough for me to get my foot in!!! (my leg is normal sized too!) I even took the boot to get stretched and still didnt work for me.... I was so disappointed that i'll never buy FRYE again...

I'd call this color salmon -- yes, there's a pink tint, especially the top half/shaft. Do you own this pair?

FFG - Just to let you know, the veronica slouch in slate is NOT grey. It has a more green hue. I have these and LOVE them!

I love Frye boots too. I have harness 8" in black, campus 12R in teal and veronica harness in plum. I think my next will be engineer 15R in black. I have lots of black boots in general and feel like I can never have too many!

Kdo- I just bought this pair today. Could not resist the price . That makes three pairs of Frye boots in two weeks.

Kdo- you have The Frye boots VS in Slate? I knew u had the dark brown, but you never mentioned Slate! Would have never thought that it would have a green tint to it, good info! Could you post a pic? I would love to see a picture of it. I saw in another thread and looked grey. I still have not received my VS in distressed black as of yet, two more days.
