Default Frye quality control?
I am so bummed. Last week I posted about the Frye Melissa Button boots I received that had loose stitches. Nordstrom was great about exchanging them, and I was so excited to see that the replacements arrived today. When I opened the box, the first thing my eye went to was a cut in the leather near the top of one boot. It's not just a scrape, but more of a nick where a flap of leather is actually hanging off. Is Nordstrom going to be annoyed if I exchange them again? Ugh, this is why I hate shopping online. I just want my pretty boots!

Its wierd about these Melissa's ...I ordered my first pair from Nordies online and they came with water stains and white stains all over them...had to return and get another pair(which were fine)...bizarre~ness.
I would exchange again for sure..a cut in the leather is unacceptable....awwww ..sorry!..that stinks!

Sorry to hear that, I've never seen that kind of damage on Fryes. You should definitely exchange them, and Nordies customer service is very good. I don't think they will make you feel bad for it at all.

I did an online chat with Nordstrom last night, and I can't say enough about their customer service. I'm not used to shopping at stores that are so incredibly helpful! They are exchanging the boots and the customer service person said she would make a note for the warehouse manager to inspect the boots before sending them out. This morning I check my email and got the order confirmation, and I see that they sent them out using next day shipping!
