Sorry guys can't post modelling pics. The size I ordered is 1/2 size smaller. I have to return it yesterday and have to order 6.5. I ordered it online at monamoore.com. Look for Anna, Lisa or Catherine. Very lovely people.

The shoes are too die for!

oh repavlic! i am a size 36 and have to settle for 36.5 because they do not have 36 here for me! i am a size 6! but i thought i could wear them with long black socks the way they did on the runway and fill in the half size

it has to fit you very well for you to be able to nail it. the heels are 4.5 inches and it is a challenge to balance your weight. did you get it from barneys? if 36.5 would not fit you well then go for your real size. try calling mona moore because they will definitely have a size 6 (the one that I returned). they are open today 10-6pm. although they are $795 +5% tax. i know at barneys they are $740. good luck!

I just recently found this thread and had to post! I love dries. I current own two pairs of his shoes. Both are from his fall 07 collection but I am dying to get my hands on the beaded sandals with the red and blue stones from his recent spring collection. I love all your dries bagpunk-they are just gorgeous!! Here are mines.

i just missed a 20% anniversary discount because i could not make it to the store on sunday ..... i am feeling a bit ill now.

i am getting my from a local boutique here in singapore. the SA has been very nice about holding them for me and i did not want to abandon her and get a pair from elsewhere. good faith and all that.

i found myself struggling on stilettos no matter what. and the half size larger seems to be no easier nor harder. also, the 36 might be too snug if i were to wear long socks with them :)

greymoments, i love your purple! i almost bought a pair!

by the way, i want to apologize to whoever started this thread since i seemed to have hijacked it!!! i was just soooo excited to find others who are into DVN shoes because not a lot of people seem to. at least not in this forum :) and i was hoping to see the pair you were talking about at the start of the thread, but you seemed to have disappeared... :)

hi bagpunk! nope i did not get the 6.5 either. i tried walking on them but really had difficulty balancing. the heels are kind of awkward and for some reason i could not balance myself. too scared to trip and break my ankle.

aaaw... so you've cancelled these have you? they are very very light shoes and it was suggested that this may contribute to the feeling of wobbliness on such skinny heels. but they are *incredibly comfortable* as far as stilettos go. and i have to say that mine is more stable after i went half a size down. and i have wider and flatter feet than most, so if anything, i normally go up a size... i think the stilettos have to sit right under a certain point under the feet for them to be stable. and, don't walk on thick carpets.... :)

i just have to pop back in here to say that these shoes are the MOST ridiculously COMFORTABLE heels.... DVN heels are so well constructed with look and comfort in mind, i am ever so grateful! i hate having to suffer on heels (this is why i have avoided them for the past 20 years...)
