i have some and they've never hurt me. the first few times you wear them, they are a little stuff but that should pass with a few outings.

did your chucks feel tight? maybe they were too small and your toes were squished?? gl with them if you decide to keep wearing them.

I used to wear them to school all day everyday as a teenager and then stopped wearing them for years, I got another pair and couldn't believe how uncomfortable they were so I got rid of them. On my last trip to NY I thought I'd give them another try and my new ones are SO comfy!

I have to say the first ones I had back in the late 80's were all US made ones, wonder if that makes a difference.......

Thats the thing they fit fine...not too small or too big. My baby toes were the only part of my feet that were uncomfy and it happened suddenly after I had been walking around for a couple hours. Maybe its just MY feet lol.

Hmm, I wear pink low tops on the weekend, and I haven't ever had a problem with them--I do tend to wear sock liners with them, though.

I like my Converse. I have 2 pairs of low ones (the shoes) and a pair of boots and they are great. Very comfortable but a bit smarter looking that trainers.

Yes, I wear them. After you wear them a couple of times they'll get more comfortable.

i adore mine. i have 3 pairs including custom ones i made for my niece and i. my neices adore them and have like 15 pairs each and they got me into them. they're so comfy. but i do think you need to get used to them. i have really high arches and i found them odd at first too.

i own a red low top pair. IMO they're pretty comfy but I've had them for years. I don't remember them ever being uncomfy when I first started wearing them though.

They're great and go with everything. Nice for walking the dog, school anything!

obviously, you can't walk for hours and hours or exercise in them. and I would never wear them in the rain/cold. They're perfect for any other time though :)

I wore them when I was in high school during that whole early 90s grunge thing that I have NO desire to re-visit (every time I look at my high school yearbook all I can think is "plaid flannel is SO not my color").

A few months back, skinny jeans and white converse might as well have been the NYC high school hipster uniform. Everywhere I saw teenagers, it was a skinnies and white chucks convention!

I have a pair of vintage black One Stars that are years old. I love them! I put hot pink laces on them and wear them when I'm bumming around or when I go to shows.

I had a pair of Chucks and they were uncomfortable The One Star is much better on the comfort level.

i love converse chucks, i used to have them in a whole heap of colours when i was still in school and university, but now i only have the one pair in a bright orange. I find them quite confortable but that's because i'm used to wearing flat shoes and tennis shoes almost every day for work Sorry, i have no real advice to help here
