balihai88 - Gimmeshoes is pretty good about returns. That's where I bought my Elis, so don't worry about that aspect.

^^ Shopping enablers, unite!!
KittyKat, thanks for the reassurance about gimmeshoes. I actually ordered the "knockoff" Mia boots from Zappos to see how the style looks on me. If they look good, I'll spring for the F&B version from gimmeshoes. Thanks again for tracking those down for me! |

Now I'm confused about size, I'm normally a 7.5 (sometimes 8) so I figured a 37 in these would be good, especially since I want to wear socks? These look like they might stretch out but I don't want them to feel too snug at first?

balihai88 I found them at a store in australia. I buy 99% of my shoes online, so it was a big shock to find the F&B's so close to home.
If you want to wear them with thick socks the 37's will proabably be fine. My US size is closer to 7.5 than 8, and I was swimming in the 37's because the toe is very generous in these boots, and I'm wide in the toebox area. Also it's my personal preference to not wear too big shoes, and I prefer thin socks to thick because I live in a mild climate. So I knew immediately that the 37's weren't going to work on me. I really hope I haven't confused you

I just got a pair of tall Emma boots from fiorentini and Baker, and they are perfect size smaller than what I usually get. They told me that at Pedshoes and it was great advice...ask them is you need 37
