I was out of work for 18 months and just got a job at the end of June. I ran out of my favorite perfume Annick Goutal eau d'hadrien almost as soon as I became unemployed. I have been dying to buy a bottle but hesitate because it is so expensive.

There are also so many other things that I have to financially prioritize like getting an emergency fund again, etc.

I am not naturally frugal and so much of me just wants to say the heck with it and buy it but being unemployed forced me to be so cautious with money that now I feel bad about spending anything on luxury.
