Default Jessica Simpson's HairDo
Anyone else hear of Jessica Simpson / Ken Pave's hair extension line?

Extensions.com :: Brands :: HairDo - Jessica Simpson

It sounds like a cool idea. You could go from long to short hair without cutting your hair!

On the other hand, are you afraid something like that is going to look cheap?

if you color match well and use human hair, they usually look pretty realistic. heck, high quality synthetic can look really good too. my friend has super fine hair (literally baby fine) and bought these scrunchy things at norstroms a few years ago that look really good.

those ones look really easy to use....i wonder what the return policy is. hrmmmm....

Default Jessica Simpsons New Hair Extension Line
So, I saw the other day Jessica Simpson has a new line of Hair Extensions called Hairdo, and they are clip in and take about 5 minutes to do. Has anyone had any experience with these? It looked very interesting and I am curious about them. I have never had hair extensions, because I hear all the horror stories. Any imput would be great! Thanks

They're actually now available on HSN. (Home Shopping Network) Haven't tried them, nor do I know anyone who has. The ones pictured on the HSN website are $77.50 and $87.50.

(If this is what you're all referring to? Jessica Simpson Hair Extensions line from Ken Paves.)

My only experience with hair extensions has been seeing clumps of long hair creepily blowing down the street, or through the aisles in the subway, which always makes me wonder what happened to the person who was wearing them?

I've worn extensions over the years. My mom has actually tried clip on extensions and I love my mother but you could tell they were clip on extensions. The safest extensions are sew in's. They last almost 2 months, if you use human hair and get it layered right no one can tell the difference. They are good because your hair is braided down and the weave tracks are sewn into the braid. Sometimes they will leave a little bit of your hair out on top for blending. I've also tried clip on ponytails and they are cute but never look like they are actually my hair.

Wow, $500?! My friend got some extensions from ebay, theyre from like an online extension store, she got them in pieces with clips already attached, she said she paid $26 and theyre human hair. What kind of hair is JS using?! for that price, it better be Indian! Indian hair is the only one I know that go up to $200. Actually for $500 it better be Jessica Simpsons hair.
