The solution to any problem in the Army is: DRINK WATER. You have a cut on your leg? Drink water! You have a mosquito bite that itches? Drink water!
Candace, my DH is an RN in the Army... so I get that all the time. Water is the Army's cure all. :)
Where are you stationed? We're at Tripler in HI.

Wow Frosted, are you sure you are only 14?? I didn't have this kind of knowledge at your age! I'm joining in this water club because I've been making an effort to drink more. I've always had acne issues and I guess being a diet soda/coffee fiend hasn't helped much. I also starting noticing that I could go through an entire day of work without going to the bathroom. So I bought a "HydraCoach" water bottle at Target that monitors my water intake throughout the day. My goal is supposed to be 69oz/day based on my weight. The only thing I'm not clear about is if I drink diet soda or coffee, am I supposed to count that towards my intake? I have heard different schools of thought on the matter. So it is almost 7pm PST and I have only taken in 26 oz which means I'm gonna have to step it up a bit. I am curious to see if it will make a difference in my complexion. It's only day 3 so it's too early to tell!

If you're used to drinking that amount of water, you won't pee a lot like us :)

I've been drinking 1 liter bottles, which has about 33.81 ounces. So should I have about 3 of these a day?

To make your water more interesting:

Add lemon or lime
Drink carbonated water
Have it as an herbal tea (herbal tea is naturally decaffeinated and won't dehydrate)
(Right now I am drinking rooibos pomegranate tea)

I am not really one for adding those crystal light mixes as it's all chemicals.

Don't forget that many fruits and vegetables contain a lot of water so if you're eating those you're getting water.

I so need to join in on this! I have a water machine at work and a Brita at home but tend to stick to soda because of the taste. I am going to try though. I know I would benefit from drinking more water!

YAY! I am in too! I was wondering what you guys were referring to, this is a cheap beauty treatment that is also healthy so I am all for it!! But I do need to cut out some of my soda intake, I have a serious weakness for Vanilla Coke. Thanks Frosty, your very knowledgable and super~sweet!

No I wouldn't count coffee and soda. Those should be kept to a minimum because they are filled with lots of calories, sugars, etc. Definitely not helpful to your skin. I have had 90 oz. of water today and that's all for me. I don't want to keep peeing when I go to bed, so I'm done for today :)) Yay! Another successful day.

Yes I'm very very sure I'm 14 unless my parents have been lying to me all this time.. I look 14!!! LOL.

No way!! Uh oh. I'm going to have to stop then.

Update~ No break outs or anything now, my forehead is very smooth. I ate spicy food one day and I had a pimple later!! My Mario badescu buffering lotion came in handy and now it's gone. No more spicy food for a while :( & it sucks because I love my Korean spicy foods..
This weekend actually, I have a small photo shoot with a pro photographer who does senior portraits, special events, etc. He has student reps and I'm going to be modeling for him. I'm very excited for this opportunity, I've done a little bit of modeling before and it's really fun. I feel great about my skin now, when I get my makeup done I won't be worrying about any blemishes. Yay

Hehe posted this just for you! (and some other girls who were requesting a thread for more info ) I love vanilla coke! I used to like that vanilla/cherry dr. pepper, so yummy. Now I never drink soda unless it's at someone's party or something. Always have to drink soda then! :))
Aw thank you,

ETA: I love how many views this is getting :) I hope more girls can experience the benefits.

I'm in! I do drink a lot of water but I should be drinking more. I really need to cut back on iced tea and coffee.
