Great idea! Do you use any appls on your iPhone for this? They should make a water-intake app! Maybe I'll try a to-do list or something where I can cross out the # each time I finish a bottle. I love creating lists and crossing them out!

I'm working on a 20 oz bottle as we speak!

I was talking to lesparkley on aim and had to run to the bathroom after a few minutes! Haha. Then I filled a 20 oz. bottle. I am almost finished with it. That's how fast I down these things. It's instinct now. I do take breaks between bottles though. That's the safe thing to do :)

Nope I do not have a special app, I haven't looked but maybe there is something we could use. Anyone?
I just make a list as well, and cross of as I go. I love crossing off things on lists, definitely. I use Listingly on my iphone. works for me!

I definitely drink tap water. It's pretty good where I am and tastes good, too. I was just inspired to drink two glasses!

frostedcouture- I see what you are saying about drinking too much in a short amount of time. I think as long as you are fine with drinking a large amount throughout the day, then that's good! I just wanted to throw that precautionary thought out there just for awareness' sake and I also was not 100% sure what would be too much - or even more than necessary so as not to make myself drink more than I even want to, if that makes sense.

Well this sounds like fun to try out and see if I notice any results! Great idea!

I keep little tally marks in my daily planner; my planner is always in my purse with me. I just write a little marking in my agenda when I finish a glass of water.

It's a little difficult to start drinking a lot of water, especially if you're a human camel. I'm guilty of being one! Don't OD on the water your first day. I did, and I had a tummy ache the entire night. After that, I got used to drinking 9-10 glasses of water everyday.

I use a Nalgene water bottle. It's cheaper than drinking from bottled water. Only it's not Nalgene, it's from Eddie Bauer. I heard that Nalgene water bottles were recalled for health reasons (something to do with the plastic?). Anyhoo, I just keep the bottle with me all the time whether I'm in front of the computer, tv, or eating; and refill with filtered water too. I also sip from a straw in the bottle, that makes drinking so much water way easier and it goes by faster.

There is a lot of talk about how plastic is not good for water bottles. My parents are getting me to use bottles that are made of some kind of metal, but you know what..these work great for me. I think it's not good to fill with hot/warm water, but cold water should be fine. Everything out there has some kind of bad factor, what are you going to do, you know?

Water intake should be GRADUAL everyone :))

At home (when I drink water at home) it's from a Brita. At work, we have water/ice machines so I'm never drinking straight from the tap.

It's not only working for me, but others :)) Perhaps you need to drink a little bit more? Not a ton of course, but increase it a bit to see if it helps.

Our tap water here is gross, so I drink bottled or filtered.

I keep a 32oz plastic bottle with a straw at my desk, and try to drink 1 before lunch and 1 after lunch. Been working so far. It's easier for me to drink when I have a straw and some ice.

I'm thinking maybe I need more water - I haven't noticed anything new. My complexion is the same (but always pretty clear) and I don't pee a lot. Hmmm.

P.S. - I do not like drinking water, especially with food. It's just so blah. But I'm off caffeine and trying to stay away from sugar and drinks with calories, so water is best. I do drink it with Crystal Light a lot though.

Drinking with a straw is the best, you can sip away while posting on tpf

If you're used to drinking that amount of water, you won't pee a lot like us :)

I want to join! If we have Evian water in the house I always drink it but otherwise I tend to stick to soda! :/

I always drink water when I'm out or at college though.

Almost 80 oz.
After I finish dinner I usually stop drinking water because I don't like to wake up in the middle of the night.

I want to join! Right now I buy the 6 packs of Fiji water. Once I finish a bottle, I refill with tap water (the water is pretty good here) and then I throw out the bottles every 3 weeks or so and purchase another pack. I am pretty good about drinking water, but I can always do better!
