Review: (I have fine hair) This stuff is A-M-A-Z-E-I-N-G!!!! It smells GREAT....the bottles are 11.9 fl. oz, and it makes my colored hair soft and shiney like you would not believe. I am a product JUNKIE and never seems to finish anything. This is the first shampoo/cond I can think of that I have used to the last drop, and went to buy more!! (my mom does hair...so I have tried it all). It nourishes healty hair growth as well....which is always a plus!!

Price: $16.00

Will purchase again: You bet!!!!

Where to find it: Ulta

The MP brush is said to reach every corner of the scalp to clean away scales (eew), resulting in a healthier scalp and hair... The only real differences between the MP and Sonia Kashuk versions is that the SK is all snythetic, rather than a mix of boar and snythetic, and the SK is not made by hand.

I'm not an avid hair brusher, meaning I don't do 100 strokes a day a la Marsha Brady or anything like that... I mostly just use my brushes to style my hair and brush out tangles. This brush is GREAT for smoothing hair when you're pulling it back. You won't get any lumps or bumps, and the multi-level bristles do feel good on the scalp. Maybe you have to buy the MP version to see miracle results, but given my infrequent brush use, I think I'd feel pretty ripped off if I spend $125

I will say though: I had a few flakes from dry winter scalp before I started using the brush and they've gone away!

Price: $14.99

Will purchase again: I probably won't have to. But if I lose it, I'll buy another one.

Where to find it: Target

Some pics for comparison....

MP: SK:
i'll have to pick this up this weekend . my wallet hates this thread .

I had the same exact experience with this gloss. I tried it on at work the other day. This gloss was soo bright and such a strong pink color. bad bad bad. It's a pretty color but not on someones face! I did think it was cool how it worked but they really need to fix their blend or something.

I've been wanting that SK brush. I am an avid hair brusher, and I've been pretty disappointed in most of the more expensive ones I've tried (never tried MP). Think I'll go pick one up this weekend.

Product name/shade: Too Faced Shadow Insurance (eye shadow primer)

Review: I went back and forth between this and Urban Decay, trying to decide which to buy. UDPP is like the holy grail of primers, but TF is new and it's been getting rave reviews. What clinched it for me was that TF is only $1 more than UD, but you get a bit more product in a MUCH more practical (and sanitary) container.

I haven't used UD, but I can tell from the youtube videos that it's a lot thicker and creamier than TF. I actually had to shake the TF primer the first time I used it; that's how runny it is. It's also silicone based, so it's a little too slippery for me. It does its job, but so did my foundation primer. I don't think I needed a separate product for my lids (at least not this one).

Price: $17
Will purchase again: probably not!

Where to find it: Ulta or Sephora

This stuff is absolutely amazing! If anyone has trouble with blemishes or rosacea, I would definitely give this product a try.

Price: $30

Will purchase again: yes, for myself this time!

Where to find it: Sephora/online

The redhead over here is wondering if this would help disguise the nasty sunburn I seem to get at least once every year, despite slathering myself with sunscreen...

I used it for several days, and it started to break me out a bit so I stopped. My skin is a bit oily and this product is far too heavy for my skin and it is also very heavily fragranced (which I don't like). My SO won't allow me to put it on his hands anymore as he says it makes him smell like a girl, so I've been trying to waste it by using it on my hands at night. My hands have actually felt drier during the day since I've been using it, but I'm not sure if it's the cream or the weather lately.

Price: $125

Will purchase again: Hell no!

Where to find it: www.cremedelamer.com or a snooty boutique near you!

LOL at this!

I bet it would. I was astounded by how well it worked. She still had a little peeling there, so she put it on top of Vaseline and it still looked good!

For this thread we need those little stickers that are in Lucky magazine! You know, the tabs that say "must have" etc that you stick to the pages instead of dog-earing everywhere! Then we could flag stuff we absolutely MUST TRY!

Ooh! Me, Me! I did!

Product name/shade: DiorKiss Lip Gloss in Pink Marshmellow (number 168)

Review: It's a sheer pinky nude shade, on me anyway and is exactly what I was looking for! It comes in a tube (no applicator) and I did oversqueeze the first time. LOL. It's not too sticky and seems to have relatively good staying power. When it's gone my lips feel well conditioned. I have chronic chapped lips and sometimes even chapstick makes them peel...go figure. The one thing I am not sure I like is the smell. It smells like roses to me and while I usually love that smell, I'm not so sure I want it on my lips. It also doesn't taste that great (tastes like the smell), but then again, maybe this will break me of my lip-licking habit.

Price: $19.00

Will purchase again: Probably

Where to find it: Sephora

Product name/shade: Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Reflect in Cotton Petal (247)

Review: This gloss is from Dior's spring 08 collection, which was comprised primarily of gorgeous pinks. It comes with a brush applicator as opposed to the doe foot, and the formula is a bit thinner/runnier than my usual glosses (i.e. MAC lipglass, Chanel glossimer, etc.). One complaint many people have with this particular range of glosses is that it applies a bit streaky, as it's not that goopy/sticky, but with a little work it ends up with a beautiful finish. I actually love this gloss because although application takes a little bit of effort, the end result is long-lasting color that's not sticky or tacky. It also conditions my lips and doesn't cause to peel, which is a first with glosses for me.

The color itself is described as a light milky pink. I see no shimmer at all in this gloss, but IMO it's the perfect shade of pink. I purchased it after seeing it on the model in the promo pics.

Price: $24.50

Will purchase again: I'd probably want to, but it's limited edition and already seems to be sold out on many websites.

Where to find it: It seems to be sold out on Sephora's site, but it should be available at most Sephoras and any major department store.

Product name/shade: Nars Blush in Amour

Review: This is great daytime alternative to their hit color 'orgasm'. It is essentually the same shade with zero shimmer so it looks more natural to me in stark daylight. It is a peachy pink as described.

Price: $25.00
Will purchase again: YES!

Where to find it:
Sephora, NARS, and others.

Product name/shade: Bobbi Brown SPF 15 Lip Shine in Brandy

Review: I really like this for daywear. It has a shimmer that you can't see from the color example, and clolor is closer to the actual color of brandy. It's semi sheer & moisturizing. Doesn't dry out my lips, doesn't feather or require lipliner to look good to it's easy to wear & gives you spf protection.

Price: $19.00
Will purchase again: Absolutely
Where to find it: Saks, bobbi brown web site & others

Product name/shade: Benefit Benetint

Review:
This stuff can be used on you cheeks or your lips to give a natural stain. I love it even though to me it was a bit pricey, but it ends up being worth it since one tiny bottle will last a super long time. I usually dab 3 dots on each of my cheeks and blend it in usually with my fingers to give me a natural flush - like I just came from the gym or from out in the cold. I also like to use it on my lips because it gives me a very nice color (without looking like heavy lipstick). It's the kind of color you would get if you just ate a popsicle

Price: $28

Will purchase again: yes

Where to find it:
Sephora, Ulta, Macy's, Bloomingdales

Product name/shade: Benefit That Gal Brightening Face Primer

Review:
You're supposed to use this before foundation to make it stick better and look smoother. When the SA put it on me in the store it did look nice, but maybe that was the lighting she used? When I do it myself, it doesn't make a difference at all.

Price: $27
