Default Meg Ryan's curls

Hi everyone, I am absolutely loving Meg Ryan's curls on her new movie called The Women. Does anyone know how these curls are done? And what size tools are used? Sorry for the ginormous photo, I don't know how to make them smaller

I can't see the picture, either, but I know what you're talking about. I'd really bet that either that is a wig, or she recently got a perm and there is an exceptional hair stylist on set. The curls are almost too curly, too perfect, know what I mean?

Side note, but does she look different now? She used to be really adorable (You've Got Mail era) and now she looks odd. Could just be my memory, though.

use a smaller curling iron (definitely no bigger than 1 inch, maybe even ¾ of an inch) and curl smaller pieces of your hair at one time
