Thumbs up Mario Badescu Lovers - Share your favorite products!

I absolutely swear by Mario Badescu.

The skincare line is amazing! Here is a rundown of my favorites. What are yours?

I have their drying lotion, which is a must for occasional breakouts. They literally disappear overnight.

I like the buffering lotion to prevent acne. Whenever I feel a breakout coming on I put some on and it totally prevents the eruption!

I also have the enzyme cleanser. It gets my skin really clean without making it tight. It is also a nonfoaming cleanser which I like because I already have Estee Lauder foaming cleansers.

I use the cucumber cleansing lotion and the special glycolic acid cleansing lotion as well. These both prevent acne and keep my skin calm and looking fresh.

I love the whitening mask and that keeps my skin bright and radiant! It helps me get an even skin tone and that glow. It is a very creamy rich mask.

I also use their body lotions and their oil free moisturizer.

Mario Badescu and MAC are pretty much staples for me. Both brands absolutely rock. Though I think using Mario Badescu skincare has made my skin look so good that I probably do not need to wear makeup. I still like to wear makeup because it is fun. I probably only really wear makeup if I am getting dressed up to go out. I am in my twenties and it is great to not have to wear makeup if I do not want to. Just a little MAC lip balm and out the door I go. I cannot rave enough about Mario Badescu 5/5 stars! I think the products are so well priced and are well worth the money!

NOW WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE PRODUCTS? Share your experiences!

For those of you that haven't tried it, seriously at least get the drying lotion. It is well worth the money. At only $17 bucks, it is an amazing value. That 1 ounce will last a really long time! You can get Mario Badescu at Nordstrom online and in store or at mariobadescu.com.

Nice thread!! I love MAC too..but everyone knows that around here.

The only thing I use is the drying lotion. I really love it..especially since I get pimples from stress and my lovely oily t-zone. Thank God my t zone is less oily these days. When I feel a pimple coming on or I have one, I just put this on morning and night and it goes away a lot faster. Mario Badescu is so popular..my mom told me while we were looking at the products online that this is super popular with dermatologists. Now I know why, just after using the drying lotion!!

I am in medical school and I totally considering being a dermatologist since I love skincare and beauty products so much! My friends are always asking me if I want to do derm because I am like obsessed with skincare LOL.

I am the same way. I only break out and get like a single break out when I am under stress. For my case that happens whenever I have a major exam in medical school LOL!

Does your mom recommend it to her patients? I like recommend the drying lotion to anyone who asks about my skin or talks about battling acne. The stuff is liquid gold in my eyes! I talk about this brand to like everyone. So much so people ask me if I get anything out of it !!! LOL! I wish!

Happens to me when I have to take finals and stuff! Ugh I hate it..plus it doesn't help that my hormones are raging at this age. LOL

That would be awesome to be a derm!! I don't really want to be a doctor because both my parents are, but who knows..maybe I will change my mind. YES!! My mom does! Most people who visit dermatologists go because of one thing: acne. Always always about acne..such a universal problem that we all suffer at one point. Mario Badescu is super popular and it's not outrageously priced.

I love their drying lotion and dry mask. They are a MUST for my PMS breakouts. Another product I used to love (but don't use anymore...no need) was buffering lotion. Really helped with underneath-the-skin-annoying-as-hell pimples.

I only like his glycolic cleanser. His cleansers didn't remove make up and I noticed my cotton was dirty when I used a toner.

I can say his masks were awful. Dried out my skin and broke out my skin.

Do you have a Nordstrom near you? Nordstrom carries the line in store and online too. Aside for mariobadescu.com, Henri Bendel and Fred Segal also carry the line.

You can check online to see if any retailers near you carry the products. If not you can purchase from the Nordstrom website or mariobadescu.com.

The link below will help you find locations that sell the products.

Hope that helps!

So far, I've just tried the Buffering Lotion and it rocks my world. I will be placing an order with them this week for the Drying Lotion. It sounds like a must have and I've been too lazy until now to get some.

Love that they send goody samples with their online orders.

Drying Lotion: this is holy grail for me. Acne products dry and irritate my skin, exacerbating the problem, but this dries blemishes in no time flat without disturbing surrounding skin. I will never be without it!!

Hyaluronic Eye Cream: this is perfect IMO for someone in their 20's who wants to do some preventative maintenance. It's lightweight and just gently hydrates to make skin glow. It's also a great deal.. I think it was $18 for a jar that will probably last me all year!

Enzyme Cleanser: I'm still working on my samples of this, but I love it. It's not an aggressive cleanser that will remove all your makeup and get deep inside pores to strip oils. It's nice and gentle, and if you have sensitive skin, that's what you need!

I've also used the buttermilk moisturizer, spf 30 moisturizer, glycolic toner, silver powder, ceramide herbal eye cream, seaweed cleanser, cucumber cleansing lotion and seaweed cleansing lotion. I liked ALL of these and my sensitive skin didn't have a reaction to any of them!!

oooh, I forgot about the hyaluronic eye cream! I have been working away at a sample of that. It's perfect for me! Not heavy and hydrates, which is exactly what I need at the moment.

I have other samples but haven't tried them. Maybe I should give them a whirl...

Okay today I woke up and felt like two pimples were going to appear, one on my chin and side of my nose. I applied the drying lotion on both areas after I washed and toned my face. After a few hours it already feels less sore. You know how those areas tend to feel a little sore before they erupt to the surface?? I love Mario Badescu now!!!!
