I am hoping maybe the acne products will help with flair ups, and because of the High Ratings on MUA, I may go back and try out the Glycolic Face Wash and maybe some other products.

(I did pick up the Drying Lotion and tried it on when I got home tonight and it is already helping with the existing pimples! They don't hurt nearly as much!)
I have been using his products since 2003 and have never had any problem with drying or them being too harsh and my skin is fairly sensitive.

I think you should give it a shot. I don't think you have anything to loose, other than the acne. I think if your purchase from mariobadescu.com you have 30 days to try it and can return it for a refund. If you buy it in store at Nordstrom, I am pretty sure they will let you return them if it doesn't work for you.

I have used everything from his cleansers, moisturizers, toners, drying lotion, buffering lotion, and even his scrubs.

If you fill out the questionnaire on his website for recommendations they will send you an email to get samples of all the recommended products, before you buy. I mean what other company does that? I think that just goes to show how confident they are people will love the products. I seriously do not know what I would do with out the drying lotion and the buffering lotion, they are 2 products I take with me everywhere.

I stopped at Nordstrom's on my way home from work yesterday and picked up some samples of the acne face wash and cucumber lotion and aloe moisturizer, and purchased the anti-acne serum and the acne repair kit (drying cream, buffering lotion and drying lotion).

So far the face wash and lotion are not too drying, although the buffering lotion did leave areas of flaky skin over night. The drying lotion is AMAZING!!!!!

I also think using Laura Mercier was causing all my break out issues, which is unfortunate because the finish of the makeup was FLAWLESS! I went back to Bare Escentuals this morning, and of course even the lightest shade turns yellow on me, but it usually doesn't break me out. It actually seems to help my acne in the long-run.

I can't wait to see how my skin is at the end of a week or two. After using the drying lotion, the pimples really did look smaller in the morning!

Does anyone have suggestion on what is best to put on first? Obviously face wash, lotion (toner) but then I am not sure after this. Acne serum, then the buffering lotion and drying lotion? Is it okay to use all the items in the Acne Repair kit together at night? Suggestions are welcome!

I swear to you if I don't get the drying lotion soon, I'm going to kick my own butt.

Have you tried EM yet? I've found the color stays true a little better than the BE did for me. I always found it went pink and dark.
No problems at all with the Everyday Minerals.

I was thinking of trying a different mineral brand, but where can I get EM?

No, they don't carry it there. No, but if you order it from MarioBadescu.com you get a great little sample/travel kit with every order!

My mom just came home and she has a box of Mario Badescu. <-- my face when she showed me

I immediately saw the cucumber tonic mask and I want to try this. Lucky me, I get to use some even though it's not mine. hehe that never stops me, I always steal mom's stuff. I read about this on a few beauty blogs (which I religiously read) and I'm excited to try it. If I like it, I will use this once a week and MAC's volcanic ash.

Oh man, a lot. Right now, I love the drama between XiaXue and Dawn Yang. (although they aren't makeup blogs, they are still blogs )
K then I also read daily beauty buzz, pursebuzz occasionally, RiceBunny (she doesn't update about beauty all too often), Fei, Stephie, bella cupcake, EnKore, RenRen, Nessasary Makeup, Shades of U..there's probably more but these are the ones I look at more often

I use Proactive but I'm thinking of switching over as I've heard too many good things about MB! I have cystic monthly acne too... :(

Babydoll, you know how it's said that dermatologists use Proactive a lot? My mom never recommends patients to use it, she uses a lot of Mario products. Definitely check out the buffering lotion. If you order any full size item, you can get a free sample/travel thing.
