Be careful of using too much protein-based products too often - over usage might cause weakening of the hair shaft and cause breakage/damage.

I don't believe I'm reading this, lol. This statement alone has convinced me to buy it! I'm off to search eBay, and hope I can find the same deal.

Edit: Just found the deal on eBay, and ordered. I can't wait! I'll let you know what I think once it arrives.

Guess I was too late - the only one left on eBay is auctioning. It ends on 9/7. I'm soooo not patient! Off to google...

I emailed the company to find out where I can buy it! There are some salons that have it in stock for $40 retail if you google it. But I'm hoping to find it locally to avoid shipping costs!

^ Cheryl, just letting you know 'cos I know if one uses it long term and too much, hair breakage is not uncommon.

I found this on a google search about protein for your hair

http://ezinearticles.com/?Protein-Tr...Hair&id=705412

I think if you do to many protein treatments then yes it can be bad but I dont think even daily use of this leave in is going to do anything but good for your hair.. I will certainly do more looking into the topic though...
