I use a cheapie eyeliner from Rimmel prior to that I used Lancome. Both are great.

The only eyeliner that doesn't run on my oily lids is MAC's Liquid Last. But it's a B to get off!

I've had really good luck with the Dior liquid eyeliner pens. They're very easy to put on and won't end up under your eyes at all. My eyelids are very oily, so they'd probably work for anyone else. MAC's gel eyeliner is also great for a more dramatic look, although it takes a separate brush to apply, which some people aren't comfortable with.

have you tried blinc's liquid eyeliner? i haven't tried it myself but i've read very good reviews and it sounds like it's perfect if you issues with smudging!

"Blinc Liquid Eyeliner's revolutionary formulation forms a water-resistant layer of color for a dramatic look that lasts all day...Once set, Blinc Liquid Eyeliner's binding properties allow it not to run, smudge, or fade even if you cry or rub your eyes, yet it doesn't require a make-up remover to come off. Lots of warm water and gentle pressure is all it takes for Blinc Liquid Eyeliner to peel off effortlessly (like a second skin) without leaving any residue. Ideal for those with sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, and active people in search of an eyeliner whose look, hold, and ease of removal is without compromise."

The only eyeliner that has ever worked great for me (and stays on forever- literally. you could sleep on it and it will still be there in the morning).. is the Almay 16-hour waterproof eyeliner. I absolutely love it and I will never buy any other.

Have you ever tried the gel-like eyeliner? MAC and Bobbi Brown both have them, I find them way more durable than pencil eye liners.

^^ I ordered the MAC fluidline...can't wait to try it!

I really like the Stila liquid eyeliner pen/pencil. I did a lot of job interviewing this summer, and would just do a thin to medium line, upper lids only and it stayed put, even in hot weather. I could take a risk of any smudging, KWIM? And, it washes right off with my cleanser, so I didn't need an extra step with eye makeup remover. The less pulling on the eyelids, the better!!

I swear by BB Gel Liners. I just bought my first MAC Fluidline, but haven't tried it yet. Supposedly it's similar (but I think a bit cheaper) to BB.

I use Clinique's brush-on cream liner...doesn't budge, doesn't smudge, won't leave you with raccoon eyes...I wear it out in blizzarding weather and it's fine!

I've been using MAC eyeliners for 10+ yrs until a friend recently introduced me to a Japanese brand of eyeliner that never smudges with sweat, tears nor water, dries quickly and is reputed to be popular among the geishas and maikos from all over Japan. If it's good for them it can be good for anyone. The liner features a flexible but firm brush with bristles always stuck together, so you can quickly create a thin or thick line as you wish. Unlike most waterproof eyeliners, this one's more easy to remove. It's made by SANA available in black or red. You can get it from Japan, Sasa physical stores (I don't think they have online last time I checked), or eBay. I'm now a convert and already stocked up!
