Default Concealing acne/acne scars?
I did a search in the forum and found that most concealer-related threads talk about concealers that are good for covering dark eye circles. While I'm lucky enough to not have dark eye circles (yet), I do have problem skin, which I conceal somewhat effectively with concealer + loose powder.

I currently use Urban Decay's concealer pencil in FBI, and I used to use Sonia Kashuk's Hidden Agenda concealer palette. I'm wondering what others are using to conceal acne/acne scars and how you like them, as well as if anyone has any tips/tricks to conceal these problems effectively (and still look natural)?

Thanks! :)

I use to have horrible acne. I now have a little light acne and I use Murad's concelar for acne. It works really well and when I use it and apply my powder, my face looks sooo clear! it's awesome! It's a little pricey $24ish at Sephora, but it works! Good Luck!

MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer works really well for me. I have a huge scar from surgery (7 stitches on the right side of my face so noticeable) and it concealed it really well.

It's thick enough that you get great coverage but still creamy enough to blend in to your foundation.

I am looking for a good one as well. I have the studio sculpt, but it kind of sticks in my fine lines and doesn't do too great for acne marks IMO.
Any other suggestions?

Definitely BB creams!! I'm using the one from L'egere right now. A little bit of it can give you a flawless matte finish.

Almay clear complexion concealer! It has decent coverage aaaand most importantly it doesnt break you out b/c of the salicylic acid which is really important b/c EVERY concealer ive tried always makes my pimples worse!

ITA. I was going to suggest this exact product!! Nothing else works quite as well, and the concealer itself contains salicylic acid (music to my ears, since I still get acne even as an adult). And a stick lasts a looooong time, even if you use it virtually everyday.

PS: They also have it at Ulta.

i use the concealer from MUFE (for ocassional breakouts).... they're great and almost waterproof! I have combo skin, but even in humid weather....the concealer stays put really well.

I've kind of given up on trying to hide my redness/pimples. Every concealer I've tried makes me look like I have a ton of makeup on and I just dont like that look.

If you find something you love, please let me know! I might try out a few of the concealers listed. If you buy from Sephora and it doesnt work out...they have a great return policy!

I use Laura Mercier. I bought LM first then bought Amazing Cosmetics but I found the LM works better under my eyes because the Amazing Cosmetics gets into my fine lines and it looks too dry. I use the LM for covering up my acne too and it works just fine.

A full coverage foundation so only the worst marks need concealer. I use Laura Mercier which is full coverage but looks totally natural. Also, this is isn't makeup, but sipping water pretty much all the time has basically cleared out my skin completely (sipping, not drinking so much I feel uncomfortable). Covering up spots and scars day in, day out is a real inconvenience, I totally sympathise with you ladies...

Like lovemysavior, I've used both LM and amazing cosmetics. I don't really have much acne anymore, so I don't use them anymore tho. LM is a pallet and is drier but goes on easier and thinner with a brush. AC is a tube and it's easier to apply cuz you don't need to use a brush, but if goes on thicker cuz it's liquid. But coverage-wise, I think they were both good, and I'd base my decision on what type of concealer you like to use (tube or pallet) and which one matches your skin color better.
