I first heard about Birch Boxes through MissGlamorazzi's videos. For those of you who don't know what a Birch Box is, there is a website called BirchBox.com that offers subscriptions.

For 10 dollars a month, they will send you a Birch Box every month. The Birch Box has 4-5 deluxe samples in it, and it is all delivered in really cute packaging. They are shipped out around the 10th of every month. I have ordered mine, but will not receive my first one until February.

The deluxe samples are all high-end, including Nars, Benefit, Tarte, etc. I think this is such a great idea. If you think about it, you have to spend 100 dollars at Sephora to get one deluxe sample (via earning 100 points in your beauty bank.) So for 10 dollars, you can get 4-5 of them.

For me, the best part is you can purchase it monthly for 10 dollars, there is no long-term commitment. If you purchase 12 months, you get one free. I am going to evaluate my first few before I take the plunge for a yearly subscription. BirchBox.com also sells all of the full-size products that they send you, and you can earn discounts towards those products.

I am excited to get my cute little Birch Box every month, so I figured I'd spread the love to you guys!

Hmmmmm. Sounds very interesting. Ladies, let us know what you get. It definitely sounds like something I would like but I want your opinions first.

I should start sending out "pig boxes" . . . I'm constantly fighting a losing battle against a neverending inflow of beauty samples, GWPs, etc. that I have no use for (^(oo)^)

really??? i have such difficult skin that i try every sample i can get my hands on. A Girl at Sephora i deal with regularly said she always gave me extra samples in my bag because she knew that i would try them and that she often notices i bring in the little samples for reference and for help for them to find me the full size ones. its how i fell in love with my dior lipstick, urban decay primer potion, bad gal lash mascara, the list goes on and on!

my skin breaks out in painful burns, rashes, hives and pimples from so many things. samples are the greatest thing on earth for me! and its quite often not the hypo allergenic ones that work for me!

I'm with you... although my skin is so oily that I have to try stuff out just to make sure that it doesn't compound the issue!

I love samples.

I usually don't use regular samples because there's usually not enough product in them. But I always use the deluxe samples I get. They are significant enough to use and decide if they're worth purchasing, unlike a couple of drops of cream on a square of cardboard, etc.

that i agree with! i find Sephora quite often gives deluxe size samples quite regularly just with purchases. a month ago i got a little tube of dior lipstick i fell in love with! i had bought just a small item (15.00) and in the bag was a tube of lipstick! they also quite often fill the tiny sample jars they have with products and put those in the shopping bags at our store.
