Default best products/system/kit to use on acne?

hello fellow beauty people (:

i have been drinking a good amount of water [usually 60-70 oz.] a day and have compleatly cut out soda and most fried food [french fries still get me lol' >.<]

and my acne has been dissapearing pretty well (:
but around that time of the month i get 2 or 3 colossal pimples around my face that hurt and wont go away
and also i still have some pimples that just wont go away
i want to find a skin care regimen that works to get rid of pimples pretty fast, but doesnt dry out my face [im not even that oily. just a tad bit on my nose..]
can you guys help me?

I use Mario Badescu for spot treatment, and have been very happy with it. I take my makeup off with Ponds wipes before bed, and wash with a Neutrogena oil-free cleanser in the shower every morning.

Did you know that contrary to popular belief, chocolates and greasy foods do NOT make you break out?

You should try St. Ive's Medicated Apricot Scrub...I use it in the shower daily, it's so refreshing, and helps my pimples stay away (I break out about once a month, usually during stressful times like exam week). I've used that product for years now and it's never failed me. It's super cheap, like less than $5 a tube, but I don't remember how much exactly.
I also use LUSH's Coalface soap and my skin has breaks out even less often now.

I use clean and clear in shower STEAM facial.
I think it really exfolates my skin and leaves it clean.
I also use clean and clear moisturizer for my face, day and night. I know people say it doesn't work.. but usually my face is free of blemishes except during that time of the month.
I also use aveeno cleansing pads for my face at night before I put on the moisturizer. seems to work well.

Karman, does coal face leave your face feeling clean, or does it leave that shea butter film like the Sweet Japanese Girl soap? TIA!

I really like Neutrogena Oil-Free acne wash. It's cheap, zaps zits quickly and doesn't dry your face out. Make sure you follow up with a moisturizer and sunscreen. Since you're young, you need something water-based. When I was around your age, I liked the Clean & Clear medicated moisturizer. It kept my skin clear and soft.

i use proactiv, but it really dries out my skin a lot, but it works, so i'll just have to deal. i also use this clean and clear stuff that contains 10% benyzol peroxide (i think thats how you spell it) on pimples and i leave it on when i go to bed, and it does a good job of clearing them up. my only complaint about the two is that they ruin coloured sheets and towels, so i have to put a white blanket on my pillow at night.
