honestly, i don't know, its soo played up, that you can just see it and feel it... very fake... and then they bring up the whole Brody thing.. w/ KC..

the whole thing w/ the JB and KC story line looks bad too.... not sure... i might dvr it and watch when I am working out, but i dont think I will waste my time w/ it if i have other stuff to do around the house...

whhaatt? 5 minutes in and there's a cat fight. I'm assuming that by episode 5 this is going to really resemble Jerry Springer.

think they're playing reruns now. and the show really sucked. now i feel like they're 100% focused on scripting artificial drama.

I'm catching the rerun right now, so I'm commenting as I see. Did anyone notice Justin Bobby's blood shot eyes? I'm wondering if he needed to get high in order to pretend he finds Kristin attractive, haha (no offense to Kristin, I just think that whole thing is 100 percent scripted).

I actually dug it. I like Kristin alot.

And I was REALLY surprised that it didn't feel like Lauren was "missing." JMO.

agreed! I like Kristin's attitude, it may be difficult for the others to adjust to but its something different.

I loathe when a girl says "dude." After the catfight, I decided my time would be better wasted on an ancient Golden Girls rerun. Kristin is a horrible actress.

KC was on the After Show last week and said just be aware that all is not what it seems and they do things with the editing. (As if we didn't know that... but I liked her honesty.)

Having said that, just watch the editing with KC and JB. There is nothing there, no spark, nothing, they are actors being told to pretend for the show. It was awful and hard to watch and they barely had anything to say to each other.

It was worse than I expected actually. I didn't mind Kristin so much on Laguna but now she seems worse than before as if she didn't mature. Disappointing and I miss LC but I will probably continue to watch.

I actually enjoyed the City way more than Hills!

I recorded both the Hills and the City. The Hills was boring and so fake - the story line seemed contrived so I deleted it w/o finishing. I'm watching the City now and hopefully that will be better.

Heidi and Spencer house hunting was pretty humorous - I like KRistin, but since we know she was "brought on" the show b/c Lauren left, it seems even more contrived than ever (if that's possible) - and now Stacie the bartender is a regular - lol - sigh - but I'm looking forward to all the fashion eye candy as usual.

I use to LOVE the Hills but watching it last night for me was painful. It is just beyond fake. I think I would love it more if they just turn it into a scripted show and not attempt to pass it off as a "reality" show. That fight 5 minutes into the show was beyond ridiculous and scripted. Although I can't stand Spencer there is something about him I find hilarious. I find myself tuning in just to see this tool in action. Oh and any scene with Brody Jenner
