How funny was Olivia buying knockoffs on Canal street - it was like a drug deal - HILARIOUS.

Also - Erin, instead of b!tching, just ask Olivia to go back down there and scope accessories - and Olivia just say yes and make an effort to go down there and comb the place instead of saying there isn't anything.

I think Erin is threatend and, rightly so, b/c she doesn't want Olivia to get ahead b/c of her 'status' because she thinks she doesn't deserve it - BUT Erin needs to step it up, drop some of the attitude and be a better leader and give more appropriate direction to her subordinates if she wants the job done a certain way.

Olivia buying knockoffs was the highlight of the show.

I agree, that scene with Olivia on Canal Street was HILARIOUS. It was even more hilarious to see her coming up from the subway. I so can not imagine OP riding the subway.

I do not care for Roxy at all. I am hoping that Kelly rips her a new one and knock her down off that high horse she is on. If I was Whitney I would have been done with her after she had that party and invited all those people in MY home.

I totally agree with you on the Erin/Olivia thing. Only thing is I do think that Erin is giving Olivia direction because she made it clear to get accessories and lots of choices plus Olivia should have learned from the first time that Erin likes a lot of different choices. Olivia just does not take direction well. She kinda feels she knows better.

True - plus Erin said I wants lots of choices - loud and clear... I just feel like Erin seems unprofessional b/c she throws an attitude hissy with her criticism instead of being succint with her orders for do-overs... but then again, it seems like Olivia is half-assing her job. If my boss seemed unhappy I would ask them what else I could do to improve, not act like a know-it-all like Olivia.

I agree, that was not Olivia coming up from that subway! Or the producers they told her to walk down the stairs and walk back up and they will start filming at that point to give the illusion as if she was leaving the station...lol.

You are so right. Erin has major attitude that is just not necessary. She never really gave OP a chance. Erin had a "tude" from her first introduction to Olivia. But I have a feeling that the way Erin acts is probably common in the fashion industry. Especially with the ones who have worked hard to get where they are at and earned their place only to see someone like Olivia come in and think they know their job better than the person who has fought to get their status and not have it handed to them.

Erin didn't actually ever give any orders for do-overs (at least that we saw), and if she did, Olivia, like Bartelby, "preferred not to."

Erin did react emotionally, but had she gone so far as to actually order Olivia to do something over, that would have been in direct defiance of Joe's wishes - and the command of Olivia herself - it was Olivia who ordered Erin to do the work if she wanted it done differently than Olivia had chosen to do it.

Well, her job is an actress on an Adam DiVello show. I think she's probably doing the best she can.

I suspect that the director may have let her "improvise" some of her lines, even the "arclets" of the scenes themselves, which surprised me, because they had her enough last season so that they should have a pretty good grasp of the extent of her abilities.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see if next week's episode will smell like both the director and Joe are the ones who will have been "talked to," by THEIR respective bosses!

I couldn't stop laughing when Olivia was buying the knockoffs. it was so hilarious..and yeah it was like a drug deal..she's like "what do u have?" and they're both kinda just looking around. and then later on she told the guy "come cross the street with me". I kinda wanna see that episode again just to see OP at Canal Street.

and yeah..highly doubt she took the subway...probably took a cab there and they told her to walk up the stairs.

Yeah Erin never did give her orders - she just huffed and puffed - I was like tell the vapid girl doing her fake job what you want from her... she doesn't take non-verbal (or verbal for that matter) cues very well!

LOL you definitely make great points on the bolded parts!

does OP actually work at Elle?! or does she just film there?

Whitney seems to work at PR, but you never know.

all i can think when watching the city is no wonder elle sucks. everyone needs to get to work!

i agree with shimma's joe zee comments. how he got elle on board to be part of such a low brow project is hilarious. it's clear he loves the limelight. erin seems so old to be involved with such petty stuff.
