This is one of my favorite shows. The season just started last week and I was wondering if anyone else watched and what their thoughts were on the new season?
PS -- If you aren't watching, you should be. The guys are HOT.

I've started watching it just the last of half season!

I love the new twist they put into the new season with the introduction of the arch angel.

They're filmed in Vancouver and today's show is quite exciting. I have a couple of pictures of them!

And I have to agree, the guys are HOT.

I always meant to start a Supernatural thread!

It's my favourite tv show and the season premier just blew my mind! So awesome. I was kinda scared about how it would turn out and still can't get over how perfect it was.

Gotta agree about the Castiel (I actually think he might be even higher than an Archangel, more along the lines of Seraph (they are the "burning ones")!) lol, did anybody notice that he's quite the hottie too?!

Haven't seen ep2 yet as here in Germany I can't get it until the next day (

) I even got my boyfriend and his little brother (who watched season 1-3 within the last month) hooked to SPN so we're now spending every friday together watching the newest episode.

^^^ Oooh, it was pretty creepy. I won't give anything away until you watch it but I can't wait to hear what you thought about it.
Although what is up with Sam's super developed ESP powers? I think things might be shaping up for a Sam/Dean showdown.

I LOVE this show!!! I've been watching it since the first season. The season premiere blew me away..Castiel was the last thing I was expecting (and yes he is a cutie).

Can we talk about Dean??? **swoon**

lol, the BF is at work 'til 8pm and I'm not allowed to watch it alone or the brothers will be mad at me

You think Sam might go darkside? I really can't tell at the moment. I don't see why he would

But then again, I sure loved the Evil Sammy episodes

I LOVE Supernatural! I watched the first 3 seasons on DVD. I am really glad I didn't have to wait months to see if Dean got out of hell. Dean....

I think so too. Good vs. Evil.

I've been watching it since season one. Glad to see a thread on TPF about it.

i watched it from the first season.. gotta love the badass dean! and i got my boyfriend hooked on it too.. i haven't watched last night episode.. maybe i'll watch it tonight online..

If you watch the previous season, you'll have a little bit more background on some of the characters. I didn't start watching until the last season and I never felt completely lost about what went on. I think the little Then/Now thing at the beginning of the episode really helps a lot.

I used to watch it...I love the show! Makes you wonder where they get the ideas for the show....well, they got great imagination!

Hmm, and no, it has nothing to do with the fact that I think Jensen Ackles won the genetic lottery haha (but damn, he sure did)!

I actually love dark shows that deal with mystical, dark subject matter... my all tme favorite shows are/will always be Buffy and Angel.

I think it's really interesting how Dean was brought back by Castiel, especially considering his lack of faith (not that he doesn't deserve to be brought back, just that it's ironic). The impending apocalypse, and Lilith opening the 66 doors (freeing the Devil/Satan) should make for what will probably be an interesting season finale (but who knows). I kind of think Ruby's character is a bit useless though, unless the flesh her character out... she's coaching Sam I suppose (which we saw when he gave the beat down to a few demons), but she just pops in and out of the show really randomly IMO.

I also really like the dynamic between Dean, Sam and Bobby... you can really tell he loves them like a dad, and he is basically an older version of Dean haha (the poster he put up in the ghost proof room and Dean's reaction/approval was so funny)!

Omg, I thought it was so amazing (**spoilers ahead**)... definitely one of, if not the, best episodes of the series! It was so heartbreaking... I cannot believe that Dean journeyed back to the past and met his parents... and I'm so amazed that his mom Mary was the hunter (and came from a family of hunters)!!

So not what I would have expected... but her death was obviously the catalyst that propelled John to become a hunter. Also, the whole story with Sam is insane... I wonder how it will all pan out (end game for the "special kids," etc.)... and wow, Castiel basically telling Dean that has he to stop Sam, or they will... ahh!!!
