aklein - Hmm, yeah, I agree, but I selfishly want it to continue. I'll have a huge Supernatural sized hole in my heart... and I don't think it's the type of show that would get stale with an additional season. Of course, if they do a brother v. brother/God v. Lucifer battle, where can they go from there? Maybe it really is the end.

Talking about the 6th season: Kripke said he had a 5 year plan and never expected the show to last...but he's open to a 6th. I'd watch Jensen and Jared peel potatoes because I love them just that much. That said, I'd worry about a diluted story (Off topic - this is why I think there should be no more Twilight books - the ending was tight and happy and I just don't want to go there anymore).

On topic: And does it seem like shows get cancelled when they start to get good? Angel anyone? Apocalypse is like a buzzword for cancellation.

For season 6 they could still be dealing with the world fallout from the apocalyse (I have such trouble typing that word! so weird). You know. Clean up the world and all that. I'd imagine lots of straggler baddies would need to be ganked.

I'm all for more urban legends and baddies of the week, though I can see how it would be anticlimactic after this season.

oh my god, MissTiss, after reading your most recent posts, i wish you lived near me so we could watch the episodes live with bated breath. none of my irl friends watch the show.

of course dean is hot when he says "dammit!" he's ridiculously hot when he does that eye of the tiger mime (i especially liked when he started strumming his leg like a guitar). and yeah, i would also watch dean and sam peel potatoes. and cas is welcome to stop by whenever he wants to with a batch of apples to peel, too.

i LOVE the ghostfacers stuff, too. those two actors pull off douchey so well.

That's exactly what my fear is... that a sixth season would be anticlimactic after this season and they'd nix the idea of having one based on the this seasons storyline... but hell, there NEEDS to be a sixth season... what will I do without Sam and Dean (especially Dean... ahhh... Dean)!! Yes, Angel is such a prime example of killing a show before its time... I'm a total Whedonite (the biggest Buffy and Angel fan out there!)... but still, money talks, and god knows there are tons of greedy execs willing to prolong a series to fuel their private jets... in this case, they'd be doing us all a favor though.

How fun would that be!!!! I used to go to a friends house every week to watch House and Nip/Tuck. We'd have dinner and wine or maybe play a drinking game while we watched. House had some favorite phrases he used....so fun. I miss that so much. Watching TV alone and yelling, crying, laughing, etc. at the TV is not as fun.

Jensen's leg guitar is my all time favorite part of that skit. Watch his fingers, he's even moving them when the song changes chords! Attention to detail! Love it.

I know that we were all wondering about the Bad Ass Cas thing. Well I read that even though he was blown up last season, he still has some angel powers when he came back. However, over time, those powers decrease. So maybe that is why in tonight's episode he seems so different.
Can't wait to find out!

^^ME neither because Stoned Cas looks hilarious! I'm going to pick up some take out from somewhere and buy some beer (to honor the Winchester bros.) and watch it.


AND if my DVR deletes another episode of this show, I'm going to become violent . Last week's episode is gone too! All I have is the premiere. Bah! I am hoping the run re-runs right before sweeps. You know how shows do that...then BAM new episodes right when sweeps month starts? Maybe I'm wrong.


Anyway, tonight will be EPIC and next week SAM AND DEAN ARE BACK TOGETHER (and ganking Paris Hilton to boot!)

I personally don't care if you include spoilers at all. Not sure how the other ladies feel.
It seems like it is just us regulars that post here, so I would think it would be ok if you just indicated it was a spoiler at the top of your post. In other threads, posters usually hit the enter key a few times, so if someone didn't want to read it, they didn't have to.

All I can say is, after such a heavy, thought provoking episode, I'm glad next weeks ep will be a silly, fun one (with Paris Hilton haha, $hit, I hope her ass gets killed... oops, did I actually type that). Spoilers to follow if you didn't see the latest episode!

I'm SO glad that Sam and Dean reconciled... it was so depressing watching them go their separate ways and Dean push him further and further away. I gotta say though, a stoned Cass = a hilarious Cass... smokin' up with daily mass orgy's haha, wow. When Dean confronted Lucifer-Sam, and was told that no matter what you do, we will end up here in five years, it brought tears to my eyes. Jensen, besides the obvious (hottest man alive), is such an incredible actor... the pain he is able to convey through his eyes is so moving... really something else. Knowing all that he knows, he still chooses not to let Michael take over his body... hell, that's the Dean we all know and love. Omg, and on a lighter note, did any of you die (like me!!) during the Dean-future Dean scenes?! Dean times two is more than I can handle haha, wow. Anyway, I'm half asleep writing this... can't wait for next week!
