Love the show! I really like the Last Tap Dancer, don't know his name, but he has great technique & personality!

I actually liked the premiere this season because they didn't seem to spend so much time on the lousy dancers. In the past I almost always skip the auditions because I don't care about the people who can't dance and I don't think it is funny when they are shown (how many years did we have to see that "Sex" guy?).

Like everyone else I am happy that there is a Fall season!!

i did like the same-sex ballroom dudes. they were so much better/professional than the two from last season's auditions (remember the sparkly outfits?!). i'm glad they made it to vegas!

Last night's round of auditions were pretty good. So far I've haven't really been totally blown away by anyone yet or their audition piece.

Wow -- Isn't anyone watching the auditions for this season? Or was everyone off watching DWTS?? (I watched DWTS live and recorded SYTYCD).

Don't know the names yet, but I'm sure we will soon -- that first guy who auditioned (wearing the plaid golf pants & bow tie!) was utterly fantastic! I wasn't expecting that at all! And the guy who did "Krump" dancing was also fantastic (he impressed me in the choreography round - I can't wait to see what else he can do - he reminds me of Twitch or Joshua from S4.

lots of great talent this season - it's gonna be another tough one for voting!!

Is anyone else surprised that they made the Krumper go to choreo but let 2 b-boys go straight through to Vegas without the choreo round?

Oh no..I haven't been watching this at all..I don't even know why!
I'll make sure I watch it this week. I was reading that the ratings haven't been too good, and they're probably gonna stick to a summer schedule next year.
how has it been so far though? anyone looks promising?

if the ratings are down, that really $ucks because the talent this season is AMAZING!!

if you thought last season was something, wait til you see some of this season's bunch

They had a girl w/one arm try out last night and she did a beautiful solo, but fell apart during choreography (they let her go). Last week, there was a REAL nerdy guy (plaid pants, bow tie, etc!) who you would think would be awful, but was one of the best this season - I can't wait to see who makes the Top 20 - some amazing dancers are doing to have to be cut because there's just not enough room for all of them!

The bar has been raised SO high!

Great show last night, lots of talented & amazing dancers in the New Orleans audition! The b-boy & the girl who was lifted up way high were really extraordinary! The bar has indeed been raised high!

Melissa and Adae are on ELLEN today and dance "This Woman's World" - the dance dedicated to women w/breast cancer. Sorry for the late notice - it was just on in Chicago - but maybe you girls on the West coast still have a chance to catch it - if not, maybe Ellen will put it on her website

Melissa & Ade rocked dancing together. I didn't feel Ade got the credit he deserved in SYTYCD last season in terms of the extent of his talent. I've seen him perform in other competitions before SYTYCD and he was really amazing.
