I couldn't believe there wasn't a thread for this series already! This is not the movie but the TV show on BBC. Does anybody else watch it and LOVE IT? I can't get over how funny and thrilling it is! Wish there were more episodes but then again each episode is like a mini movie!

We watched the first two season on PBS and loved them. Can't wait for the next series. I heard Benedict Cumberbatch is supposed to be playing the role of Khan in the next Star Trek film. He will be an awesome villian!

Yes, I LOVE this show!! It really threw me when they had cell phones in the first ep, but I think they blend in the modern aspect very well. As a fan of the books, it is so fun for me how they take some of the classic "sherlock" aspects and incorporate them with a twist, it's like a special treat or an inside joke. The whole series is just very well done.

OMG! Great thread. I love it! I think it's witty and funny. I too want more episodes. Three is just not enough. I've actually watched them again and again. I also think Benedict Cumberbach is sexy!

I am definitely gonna start watching Luther right after I finish the last episode of season 2!

I just want to clarify that Luther isn't similar in the sense that he does a lot of observations and break downs like Sherlock does, but it's a well written, psychological crime drama. Idris Elba and Ruth Wilson are superb.

I *just* got into this show! I've been watching it from Netflix. I love the interaction of Sherlock with everyone around him!
