Gretchen and Jay have not been together since February 2008. It appears her and Slade are a couple, but we know how that goes!

There was a 911 call.
During an argument while Jay and Gretchen were out one night, Gretchen made the comment she should just kill herself. She ended up leaving by herself, when Jay got home he could not get in (his keys were in the house) and she did not answer the door for awhile. When she did answer, she told Jay she had been asleep. He asked if she had taken a sleeping pill and how many. She wouldn't give him a straight answer and because of the comment she had made earlier he called 911 to be on the safe side.

Pretty serious allegations in my opinion. Not only did she have nothing to back any of this up, she also failed to appear in court. Despite evidence of this, she insists the case was "dropped" the day prior. The case was dismissed. Jay Photoglou is now left with his character and integrity being questioned...by a woman he loved. He has spent tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees defending himself against the delusional reality that seems to exist in Gretchen's mind. There is another court date at the end of this month. I hope this answers your question. There are others that this continues to affect as well, more about that may come in it's own time. I have a problem with someone that goes to this extent merely to benefit their "celebrity status" at the cost of others. Her true colors are starting to be seen for what they really are, let's hope her next "storyline" is redeeming herself. DD

gretchen is scum, but this jay photoguy...he asked for it. i don't see him as a victim, he has told his story high and low about their relationship. if he had any kind of dignity, or was a true man at any level...he would have walked away from this circus.

he seems to be a fame-whore just like the rest of them. i have no sympathy for any of these people, not even jeff.. it is sad that he passed, and i don't wish illness on anyone, but he loved the attention that gretchen provided.

normal people see a camera, and can't get their families far enough away. these people pimp out their marriages/kids/pets...to create a false image. nothing good ever comes of this.

I've always liked Gretchen. Nothing she did on the show was hurtful, malicious, etc. And this thread is about the show, no? I just watched a re-run of the reunion and just couldn't help but laugh at Vickie and Tamra - their heads looked like they were about to explode! I've seen people being envious before but never as bad as those two! Instead of focusing on their own (disfunctional) families, they spend way too much time and energy trying to bring down/insult others on the show. How very sad. It's like they never left highschool.
