He ACTED (being the appropo word here) like he owned a title or mortgage company.

For Joes CD, I think they had an executive producer, (Someone semifamous?) who puts up the money & gets most of the reward. (DH in the business) Slade could of 'produced' her CD & had no money in it himself. He probably got the title cause he was acting as her manager. Many times these titles are thrown around as favors etc. Each 'deal' is stand alone so its what they can all agree on.

Many of us had him picked as a financial poser. No one who really has money & wants to keep it, spends it with such wanton disregard like he did. He acted like he couldn't wait to get rid of it .

Does it really surprise us she is with him? Birds of a feather ---. I think she is so attractive but guess even in Hollywood, character counts for something.

Now that he's living off Gretchen's money (didn't Jeff leave her $2.5M?), he doesn't have to "hustle" for a while! He should give some of his own money to his poor, sick 9 yr. old son!

I used to think that Slade was a decent dad based on season one and that Jo was just too young for him, wanting to party and have friends.
I can't believe that he couldn't come up with some child support, he had to get some money for Date My Ex and his 2 seasons on housewives. Thats a shame.

It's ironic, Gretchen claims she is a huge advocate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (in memory of Jeff) and they had even nominated her for Woman of the Year. Yet, she's shacking up with the deadbeat "father" of a boy dying of cancer while they are in France, arranging photo ops with the paparazzi and focusing on their "careers." I bet Jeff and the LL Society are proud. They absolutely belong together, it's not like she spent a lot of time at Jeff's bedside.


*As the mother of a child that has battled cancer, I take that "father" part back, he doesn't even deserve that reference sarcastically.
