my aunt had gastric bypass. she's definitely smaller than she was but she did not use a large amount of weight. she started off good eating the tiny portions but now she's back to eating the very large amounts she used to. and she went through hell with her surgery. she got an infection and had to go to the hospital daily for about 3 hours for multiple weeks to have an IV to get rid of the infection. you would think she'd be a little more serious about it if she went through all those complications.
i love 15 pounds a couple years ago and managed to keep 10 off it off over the last couple of years. but right now i feel a bit out of control with my weight and my scale at home doesn't work. it's definitely hard. especialy when you love food so much!
