Old Soaps like Melrose Place & Knots Landing

I dont know what it is about these shows but I watch them over and over LOL!! I tivo the 2 hours of Melrose a day and look forward to watching them in the morning with my coffee. I know whats gonna happen etc LOL!! But I still love this show.

And with all the repeats/double episodes a day of old shows like Melrose, the OC, 90210, why dont they do an hour of them and fill in the other time with Knots Landing, Flacon Crest, etc to give us a variety?? I miss Knots!!

Oh and isnt it cute that Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner are dating now

They don't make 'em like they used to! Melrose Place, Dallas, Dynasty...loved those!

I agree, I used to Love Knots Landing and Melrose. I would love the whole Knots series if it were available!

I loved Knots Landing. I did not watch it in prime time but TNT used to show repeats when I was in college in the mid nineties!

I love the SOAP network for this...I used to watch Knots Landing with my Mom when I was little. For a while, I would watch the older Knots Landing episodes and watch Dallas from the beginning.

^Awww that stinks. I remember when I didnt have Soapnet, I called my cable company alot to request it.

I am glad there are other people out there that like to watch these shows, I thought I was going overboard

I love Melrose Place! I have seen all of the shows from the beginning.

I DVR both episodes on Soap Net too and watch them in the afternoon.

I love watching MP! Have you seen todays episode? Antonio Sabato Jr is guest starring as Amanda's ex husband who thinks she died in a boating episode 5 years ago.

Heather and Jack are dating!?!?! I didn't know that. That is so cute! They are so cute together! I love the series finale of MP where they fake their death and get married at the beach! They are meant to be! I hope they are as good off screen together as they were on screen!

I love those 2 soaps! Knots Landing was my 1st night soap! I remember when the show 1st started! I never did care for Val. She just got on my nerves! I can't believe that she was there til the very end.

Why aren't there any good evening dramas anymore? I even miss 90210!

There is a Knots Landing lovers forum. You can google it to find it. I don't know if I can post the site here. They only sold the first season on DVD and have no plans to sell the remaining 13 seasons. I bought them on a website from someone who taped it off of Soapnet back when they ran it.

I think there has been such a trend towards reality TV that these dramas can't draw the audiences that they used to. But trust me, I'd be the first one in front of the TV for a Knots or Melrose reunion!

AH I would totally LOVE a Melrose Reunion or a spinoff show!

It was so good, I wonder why they didn't bring everyone back for a movie or something.

I never watched an episode of Melrose Place till last week. Back then I watched 90210 but never started watching Melrose Place. Then never had time to catch up once it got popular.

The episode I watched the other day was sooooooooooooooooooooo exciting. Everybody had drama. So much damn drama and 90's clothes. Marcia Cross was all pretending to beher ex-husband and harass Heather Locklear. And this other girl thought she was meeting up with the FBI but was really getting played by some models for her sisters company. And the one guy who is gay was confronted by some doctors wife saying she'd kill him. WOW!!!!

Are all the episodes this good? I had my husband download the whole first season for me.
