I forgot what episode it was, but I believe it was the episode when the families were facing eviction, so they had a party or communion for the little kids. They were asked what kind of music they like, they said " No heavy metal, we like Shakira, and Beyonce". Then they were asked where did you learn how to dance like that?, they said" Watching Music Videos"

So when it comes down to it they might lead a life that a lot of people are not aware of, especially since they do not intermix with people outside there culture, but they are still influenced by the outside world through the television. (Music, the way they dress, and the way they dance)

I love this show. It's just incredibly fascinating - I ran and watched a bunch of episodes on YouTube.

In my experience by scamming and lying. I have worked in 2 hotels now in which we have had to deal with gypsies and its bad.

The first time was for a wedding, we didnt know who they were at the time or it would have been cancelled because of the bad experiences in the past. They pull up in hugely expensive cars yet 2 of these cars had identical number plates...its not legal to have identical number plates on 2 cars so how are they insured and taxed?

The night of the wedding they trashed the place so the hotel spent a fortune paying for the damage and they had people staying over in their rooms without paying and coming down for breakfast the next day. We had say maybe 100 people in house yet easily 200 eating breakfast for free...

Second hotel is much the same, not quite as bad to be fair but we have still experienced the lying, trying to get a refund because they break things etc.

I know there is massive prejudice against gypsies which isnt right because I am sure not all of them are like that. However I cant blame people because I also feel it myself...from my personal experience they get away with scamming and lying earning lots of money through these various activities and yet I go to work 5 days out of 7 and work damn hard for my money. In fairness I am sure that the straight up ones earn their money from cash in hand jobs therefore no tax and I cant blame them for that.

Anyway, rant over, back to topic...

I personally dont like the dresses at all, they remind me of a doll that holds toilet roll However I am sure my 17 year old sister would love them and their wedding. As princessy as I can be its way to OTT for my liking. Gotta give huge credit to their dressmaker though, she is very talented and very hard working and very very loyal.

Its all over in the UK now and has been for a while which is probably a good thing, it makes me want to plan my own wedding

Yeah I saw that, but even the adults dress that way, and where do the giant over the top gowns come into play?

Shakira and Beyonce are grown women who can dance anyway they want. Those little girls have no business dancing or dressing like that and authorities should be called.

I do not believe for one minute there is no sex going on with theses young girls. They dress like tramps and want to get married more than anything. I bet they are doing whatever boys want them to do so, they can like them and marry them.

What are the authorities gonna do? They aren't doing anything illegal that i've seen, just frowned upon.

"Little girls getting married" happens all over the world. I don't agree with it either but you can't call the authorities every time someone does something you don't agree with.

For me the worst part was seeing the 6 year old get a spray tan. I mean, wow. And then she had some sort of rash from her dress rubbing her skin?

^^ Yupp, girls get married even younger than this in some cultures. And yeah, the dress designer said that the dresses can be quite uncomfortable, but she's never heard a little girl complain as long as it looks good. The mom said she told the girl to take it off, but the girl didn't want to. I, personally, will never understand the concept of the spray tan at any age LOL
