Surprisingly, I enjoyed it ALOT and will def. be tuning in every week.
I was not a fan of the original Melrose Place.

I do agree that Ashlee Simpson should stick to singing.

I was a huge fan of the original Melrose Place! Loved it! And I did watch this Tuesday night. I have to say I loved it! It was fun seeing some of the originals and I understand that they will be scattered throughout the season.

Oh, and for those of you that are "confused". Here is my tip, remember this show is meant to be a guilty pleasure and soap opera style so don't look for it to be anything more than that and you will enjoy it too! I am sure these characters will surely push the envelope and do the unthinkable and immoral and there will be more twists than you can imagine!

Can't wait until next Tuesday!

Oh, and I see that Josie Bissett will be back! Love her!!!!!

Ashlee really didn't do much yet to really judge her. She's GORGEOUS though.

Yeah it's 10 years later. It has/will have some of the original cast members guest on the show. & Dr. Michael Mancini's son now lives in the apt complex, Violet (Ashlee's character might be Sydney's daughter)....

How can it be 10 years later?! Did Michael have a child back in the old days?! Did Cydney?

Yes, I loved it!!!

About the new Melrose. Because it was episode 1 I have so many questions. But I just hope the show lasts long enough to fill in the blanks. Seems like everytime I get into a show they cancel.

It was confusing because they said it was 10-11 years since Michael helped Syd fake her death. Yes, Jane's kid was Michael's in the original, but this new timeline doesn't jive with the old one!!!

IDK about Sydney maybe they just added Violet for drama/suspense. But, she might not be her daughter, I'm not 100% sure on that (just read it somewhere that she's her long lost daughter). Her taking Syd's picture though makes it seem that way.

^^^ I agree about Violet - she does look like Sydney and the picture bit was suggesting some relation ... but Michael and his son ... Maybe he was married/divorced back in the days and they just didn't mention anything about it? I am guessing the woman he is married to is not his older son's mother?

I can see the whole Violet-being-Sydney's-daughter thing.

This is intriguing. I'm going to keep watching.

I watched about 15 minutes and turned it off. For some reason I felt like I was like 100 years old watching that tonite. Too many teenyboppers for me.

Remember this is soap-style. Timelines don't matter. Like on day time soaps babies are teenagers in 1 year. Months are years in soap opera!

That is precisely why you need to watch it! It had the total opposite effect on me...I felt younger!

I guess it is the glass is half empty senerio!
