I hope the new version is just as good as the original! I loved the original version so much and watched every single episode!

I will be devastated if it is as crappy as the 90210 remake.

I'm confused, too! When I looked up Connor Cruise on imdb.com, it does say that he plays the detective in the new Melrose Place. But Connor was born in 1995. He looks like a teenager and not an adult. This has to be a mistake!

Katie Cassidy, who plays Ella - the publicist, is actually the real life daughter of David Cassidy of The Partridge Family.

Ok... I just checked imdb.com again.... the actor who plays the detective is named Nicholas Gonzalez and was born in 1976. For some odd reason, his character's name is listed twice for the new Melrose Place with him and Tom Cruise's son, Connor Cruise. It's a mistake. Connor Cruise is just a teenager, so could not possibly play a police detective!!! Very strange mistake on imdb.com!

The young Connor Cruise, however, will be in a remake of the movie, Red Dawn. I think the original movie starred C. Thomas Howell, if I remember correctly and maybe Patrick Swayze?

I remember Models Inc.!

Carrie-Anne Moss was in that show. (She also played Trinity in the Matrix movies.)

I saw a couple of episodes of the original series but I never really warmed up to it. I'm excited for this one, though.

I'll watch it tomorrow and post my thoughts.
