Who's excited? I know I am.
The character I can relate to the most is Pete Campbell. What about you? What do you expect to see or would like to see happen this season? I'd like to see a Joan-Don love affair. I'd also like to see Peggy and Pete re-light their romance. Duck is going to get what's coming to him! "I know you won't be alone for long, but without you I'll be alone forever." Classic |

i am very excited. i cannot wait to see don draper again!!!!
i would be very surprised if don had an affair with anybody in the office. i don't know, i get the feeling that he really likes to keep personal life totally separate from his professional life. other than the occasional socializing with the execs, perhaps there will be another chica in the mix this season. hopefully not since betty was onto him last season and threatened divorce. i am, however, very curious to see how pete campbell and peggy play out now that pete knows she had his baby. that'll be interesting. |

I can't remember Pete and Joan ever having a dialogue with each other. As it is I can only remember them together in one shot, when Duck walked in the conference room and everyone was standing together waiting for Pan-America.
Can anyone pinpoint to a conversation they had? |

I am watching the last few episodes of season 2 on DVD and counting down to Sunday's show!!
ITA that Don and Joan will probably not have an affair...she's his type in a lot of ways, though -- but he likes to live his life in a very segmented way. I find him fascinating and repulsive at the same time, and simply one of the very best TV characters ever, even outside of the eye candy, lol. The show is so full of irony and parallels...I am positively obsessed with it! |

I've never seen a single episode of this show. I find I don't have anything in common with the characters, and the material is nothing at all that I can relate to.

I don't think that Joan and Don would have an affair either...I think she got burned by her affair with Roger and she is just done with the "boys" at the office.
I would like to see Joan's character developed more... |

The show doesn't have a strong #2 character at this point. Don Draper is very much the main character, it's very much his show. There isn't an obvious #2 as everyone else other than him gets played equally or not enough.
I would like to see less of Peggy though. The whole damsel-in-distress thing gets old after awhile. |

^ I would think that is anybody, Peggy would be the #2 on the show (but by a large margin).
SUPER excited for the season premiere! |

^^^see, i classify betty as the #2 character in the show. maybe because she's his wife and going through so much with his continuous infidelities.

I hope they concentrate on office happenings and less outside of it. The office interactions and advertising pitches are my favourite part of the show. I'm not as interested in the home lives of the characters.

And I don't think that Peggy gets any more screen time than Betty, Peter, Joan. What little of it she gets can get tiring. |
