^^ You mentioned you were watching Thank You. How is it? I was going to start on the series but a friend of mine couldn't get past the first episode so I just gave it up.....
Since this is a purse forum....Did anyone notice the LV Epi Speedy in Ivorie that Yoo Hee was carrying in Witch Yoo Hee? I think it was in episode 4... such a lovely bag! |

OMG Bi Rain is SOOO cute!! I'll have to say i LOVE kdramas! i started with movies like My Sassy Girl and moved onto Windstruck (which drove me to hysterical tears because of the ending), and i alternated in between movies and series.
FULL HOUSE and KIM SAMSOON is waaay up there for me. Ive seen quite a few... most recent one ive seen was 200lbs beauty and it was funny!!! Im going to start watching goong soon! my DH is currently watching Super Rookie, i saw the 1st episode already and it looked pretty promising! |

Winners of 'The first Hallyu Grand Award', Hallyu stars "BYJ-Boa-Bi" [Gonews]5/16/07 14:45 "The best Hallyu stars are BYJ-Boa-Bi"  Top stars BYJ, Jang Dong-geon, Boa, Bi, Lee Youngae, etc. were selected as winners of 'The first Hallyu Grand Award'. The 'Hallyu Grand Award', being sponsored by Korean Entertainment Industry Academy and supported by Ministry of Culture and Tourism, is an award given to people who contributed to the Hallyu. The award ceremony will proceed at 7PM on 18 at the International Conference Room on 6th floor of Baeknam Academic Informational Building in Hanyang University. An official of the event told, "The Hallyu phenomenon is an epoch-making event in which popular culture is exported overseas for the first time in 5000 year history of Korea, " and "Although there have been outstanding meritorious services by people in the industry for almost 10 years since the Hallyu began and our People also have enough desire to appreciate them, no one has ever recognized their meritorious services." For each category, they selected the winners dividing into film, drama, music, and game. As a result, in the section of stars, Jang Dong-geon & Cheon Jihyeon (film), Lee Youngae & BYJ (drama), and Boa & Bi (music) were selected as winners. For the game, Kim Namcheol, CEO at the Yedang Online was chosen as a winner. Also for the planning/production category, Director Bong Joonho, Yoon Seokho PD, Lee Sooman, a board director at SM Entertainment, etc. were selected. Also, Song Seung-Hun and Kwon Sang-Woo will shoot an action film called 'Sukmyeong' (Fate), using Jeju as a possible prime location.  The main setting for 'The King's Four Gods' civil war scene is planned to be shot at a current tourist location at North Jeju County’s Myosanbong Peak, an approximate 66,000 square meter site. The production costs for 'The King's Four Gods' was estimated at over 38,700,000,000 Korean won (about 41,770,097 USD) and is currently being promoted to be distributed to 90 countries worldwide. The two 31 year old "Korean wave" stars Song Seun Hun and Kwon Sang-Woo, are to film 'Fate' beginning on May 20, for a period of a month and a half. In the film, Song Seung-Hun plays Kim Woo-Min, a loyal friend who has served time in prison from being falsely convicted of murder. Kwon Sang-Woo, on the other hand, plays the role of Jo Cheol-Jung, a character that foresees a tragic end due to his ambition. Hallyu Heroine Returns With New Drama By Chung Ah-young Staff Reporter  Actress Choi Ji-woo, popular in Japan where she is affectionately called "Ji-woo Hime", (Princess Ji-woo), is coming back to her Korean fans. She will perform in the MBC drama, "Air City" that will air in May and June, breaking a three-year hiatus. Her last performance on television was in the SBS drama, "Stairway to Heaven" three years ago, in which she starred with actor Kwon Sang-woo. She will play a heroine, "Han Do-kyong", an aspiring executive at an airport corporation who speaks five foreign languages. The heroine suffers a trauma involving her family. "We've decided that Choi is appropriate for the role", said HB Entertainment, which is involved in the production. The story revolves around various incidents at the airport such as drug smuggling and passport counterfeiting. Actor Lee Jeong-jae is a strong candidate to be Choi's counterpart, according to HB Entertainment. Shooting will begin early this year and will be broadcast on weekends on MBC in May and June. Choi has a large fanbase in Southeast Asia including Japan because she co-starred with actor Bae Yong-joon, better known as "Yonsama" to Japanese fans, in "Winter Sonata" in 2002, which was a smash hit in Asian countries. I watch Korean dramas too but I think my favorite is the comedy Non-Stop! (It had that Korean actress that killed herself later - Lee Eun Ju who was also in Taegukgi) Has anyone here seen Meteor Garden also? I know it's not Korean but it's one of my favorites too! Cheesy but good!
