I watched the first episode and I enjoyed it. I missed the second but I'll catch it online - along with Fringe and everything else. I rarely watch my shows on actual TV unless they are not available online.

The last line of the second show made me gasp out loud

I've loved Joseph Fiennes since Shakespeare in Love...this show is definitely going to be a must-watch for me. I just hope it doesn't drag on and on and lose my interest!

Love this show! The end of the first episode was so creepy with the guy in the baseball park, and the second episode ending was great too. This is the show I'm most looking forward to this week! I think it's because I don't usually watch shows like this.

Wow, the ending of the second episode has me wondering what in the world is going on!! It's so interesting when you think about the fact that they are living with the future hanging over their heads... is it inevitable no matter what they do, or can an action they take in the present alter the course of their future? Hmm. I love shows like this, and after Lost is over (too sad to contemplate), this may fill the void. Also, Joseph Fiennes is pretty damn easy on the eyes!!

Are these visions all going to become self fulfilling?
Why did the pictureboard have question marks beside things like the picture of the burnt out doll, sticky with "Doll Photograph?" written on it. Surely in the future he will know the significance of the doll. Everything he's doing is based on what he's seeing on the board in the vision. If he had never had the vision he wouldn't have been looking for this guy and wouldn't have been there to take the photo of the burnt doll.

I can see this is going to get me really

It's Olivia Benford according to abc.

^oooooh ok. kinda close though, isn't it?

lol yeah future/time travel stuff really confuses me most of the time, with the exception of lost. and the sarah connor chronicles. those are the only two shows/movies/ anything really that haven't confused me with that...

Is anyone watching right now??? I am recording it but I messed up and started it on the wrong channel and didn't fix it til 7:06. Can someone tell me what happened in the first five minutes??? When I was fixing the channel I heard it say something about tectonic plates and "then we all blacked out." So what happened before that??

Thanks girls, I really appreciate it!

^I can tell you what happened! First the recap (blackout happened, blah blah)... the episode starts with Dmitri on the phone (which they showed in the last episode), but they show that entire scene again. The mysterious woman (Shoreh Agadashloo) says he will be murdered on March 15, 2010... three gunshot wounds to the chest. She was told this in a future briefing. Calls ends and Dmitri tries to find her number!

FlashForward (show!) begins!!

Scene 1:

"Herr Schultz, what did you say?" Mysterious old man in Germany asks a prison guard what he saw during his flashforward. This mysterious guy says he saw something that will ensure his release from this hateful place. What hateful place? Wellll... Scene took place in Quaire Prison, Munich, Germany.

Next scene:
Olivia in kitchen preparing breakfast ... calling babysitter Nicole... they have to cover for her. Mark steps up to the plate offers to take their daughter to work.

Eric comes over... Mark lied to get him to come, saying he needed phone help. Takes Eric up to his office and says it's about Charlie... D. Gibbons was her vision and she knew who he was... he is a bad man, etc. Eric says how is this possible. Mark thinks this man will come after Charlie and is worried. Eric says as a father, if someone is going to hurt your family catch them to prevent it from happening... do whatever you have to do.

Next scene: Seattle, Washington:

Dmitri gets a text from his fiancee (first time we're seeing her onscreen - Gabrielle Union )... she's was stuck in Seattle and is now on a plane... she's a criminal defense lawyer... makes small talk with CEO of airline, who happens to be sitting in the next aisle over.

Next scene:

Dmitri... asks Al a favor... wants a tech guy to trace through carrier (trying to figure out who called him!)... says it's nuclear (aka hardcore important) priority.

Mark with colleagues shifting through intel from many different sources (re: blackout and cause). Random theories about flashforward discussed. Stanford picks up a file about former Nazi Rudolph Guyer, the mysterious old man in the first scene... he claims to know why blackout lasted exactly 137 seconds. Mark realizes he was on his board (from his own flashfoward) and says they have to follow up on it. Stanford says the Nazi's report mentions Mark by name... crazy!

Mark wants to go Germany to talk to Nazi? Stanford is basically like WTF? Guyer requested meeting with Mark and says can explain why it lasted 137 seconds and willl only talk to him. Stanford reiterates how they have no leads on D. Gibbons, etc., and they should look into that... but Mark is focused on Guyer.

Next scene: Dmitri greets his fiancee at airport... reunion, smoochies, talk, more smoochies. She is curious about his flashwoard and he redirects her mind towards... other non-talking activities.

Eric goes to see Kate (she is NOT happy)... wants to exhume their daughter's remains... she says (re: his flashforward) are you sure you weren't dead, because you were probably in heaven.

Do you need more? I think that was more than you needed haha.

I think they jumped the shark when the Old German Nazi was writing in Hebrew. I am beginning to think that the premise of show could be that we have all gone back in time. That the six months have gone by, but somehow, we all went back. Don't ask me to explain it, 'cause I don't get it either. Or, the future is a self fulfilling prophecy. Harder to prove this one as there are all the shared visions.

There have been many movies about messing with time and going back or forward to changing things. Yawn...hope this is more interesting than what has already been done.

Hi! From the website:

Mark and Janis do some research and discover that crows didn’t just die outside of Geyer’s cell the day of the blackout; they perished all over the world. There was another instance of this phenomenon. In the Ganwar region of Somalia, all crows died on the same day in October of 1991. The inhabitants of the region claim to have suffered a mass loss of consciousness. Mark says, “We’ve been so worried the blackout might happen again, we haven’t stopped to ask ourselves…what if it happened before?”

Our final image features a young boy herding sheep in 1991 Somalia. A disturbing noise from above causes him to gaze skyward. Crows scatter in frantic flight before finally plummeting to the Earth. The boy looks down at the deceased birds until his attention is ultimately drawn elsewhere. Standing before him in the distance is a soaring, mystifying tower. We don’t know what this means, but at least we now know what a sekunden is.

HTH!

What I didn't understand about the end of the episode was why the little boy in the scene didn't lose consciousness too? Is it supposed to be inferred that he's about to black out, or what? It didn't really make sense to me what they were trying to convey.
