WOW I didnt know Mike Boogie's Dolce was closing. I thought it was an LA hot spot. Is anyone on tPF from LA that can tell me what happened???

I thought it was a big group of "investors" that had lots of restaurants.

I got the same email. I have no idea what happened besides the economy. I would go there on Monday nights when it was 50% off and it was always packed. I went a little over a month ago for the 50% off monday and it was empty.

I wanted to go before they closed but my DH said he thought they were just trying to get rid of their old food...lol

I think their other places are doing better.

CBS EARLY SHOW had a preview with the castmembers.... they are bringing out the trash this year! oops......

Oh well, should be good! They seem to be all under 35. I would say about 85% are super self-absorbed. Ya know "I use guys to get what i want". I think there was 1 gay man and 1 bisexual woman, at least openly. A real mix of people, style wise. We shall see what fun this summer brings!

I just checked the CBS website, no updates yet!

Yeah the blonde girl with the tattoos seems kinda nice. We'll have to see.

Its interesting how they always seem to pull from Hollywood or LA. The one guy is a model/actor like Keesha, and the blonde was a nanny to a famous couple like Jen.

I wonder if they cast real people...it has to be so hard to get on that show!

I was hoping BB would make it long enough to have an another All Stars that I could possibly try out for, but with this lack of originality and brining back those same boring personality types, this will surely be the last year...

He sounds a bit sour grapes to me. I wont mind a recycled HG...but I do mind their choices when Evel is available maybe or Dani, etc.
