I Miss The 80s & 90s
I like Anne Hathaway but I'm not sure about her as Catwoman. Perhaps she'll be a pleasant surprise like Heath but only time can tell...

I remember reading that they will not replace the joker. Hence why they are falling back on the other characters.

It's good to Heath's legacy that he was so good he's irreplaceable, but it's also sad that he allow drugs to take him away. The talented always die so young and tragic.

Yeah, that could be the case.

I agree, I'm glad they're not replacing him, I think Heath left to big of a shoes to be filled, he gave a terrific performance. I remember when I first watched, we all went to go see it again. lol It was and is that good.

I would be happy if Bale stopped playing Batman with that weird raspy whisper voice...but he is a good-looking Batman. I think Hathaway will surprise - Chris Nolan has only made one bad casting choice IMO (Katie Holmes in the first Batman, Maggie Gyllenhaal was a better choice for Rachel).

I'm so excited for this! Like pretty much everyone else, I was surprised at the news of Anne Hathaway being cast as Catwoman, but I'm holding out judgement until I actually see her in the movie. I didn't really see Heath Ledger as the Joker either, but his performance completely blew me away. So maybe AH's portrayal will also be a nice surprise, and I think she has the acting chops to pull it off. Plus with the dark tone of the previous Batman movies, I'm sure it's not going to be cheesy or campy at all. I'm just glad it's NOT Blake Lively. Hot girl with a nice body, but She. Can. Not. Act.

^^Think about it. He needs to sound different inside his suit or someone with a keen ear will recognize his real voice and know he is a dead ringer for Bruce Wayne. You know who I could have seen for Catwoman? The actress who played Catwoman before. I forgot her name! Blond hair, pouty lips; she's married to David Kelly, the producer of the Practice.

Michelle Pheiffer. I loved her as Catwoman, but that version was a more Cartoony/comic version.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Eyes "Dark Knight Rises" Role

Certainly one of the more anticipated movies in the making, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the latest name attached to Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises".

According to Deadline, the 29-year-old is currently in talks to join the cast in a move that would reunite him with Nolan after working together on the box office hit "Inception".

In the early stages at the moment, it is still unknown as to which role Joseph would play in the project which is set to begin production this spring.

If he agrees to the gig, Gordon Levitt would join Anne Hathaway (who is playing Selina Kyle) and Tom Hardy (who signed on to portray Bane).
