Default Will Tano repair a bag?

I've been reading about Tano bags on this forum for at least the past 2 months, but this is my first post. I had been longing for a green Tano bag and finally found what I thought would be the perfect bag for me, a green Tano Sexbomb, on eBay. The seller had good feedback and advertised the bag as being barely used. It arrived today. I fell in love. However, the seller had the straps set on a short setting. When I lengthened the straps, I noticed that one of the Tano studs (?) on the top of one of the front pocket straps is missing. It appears to have fallen off. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. I've already contacted the Seller but was wondering whether, if I contact Tano, they will repair the bag? I'd really prefer to keep the bag so long as it can be repaired.

I don't believe that Tano will do bag repairs although this will have to be confirmed by TE. You could find a leather shop who may be able to replace the piece if you are going to keep the bag. Otherwise I say to discuss your options with the seller. Sexbombs pop up on eBay all the time, alot of them are new without pieces falling off. I hope you can get this sorted out!

From the tanobag website:

What happens when I have an issue with my Tano bag ?
We hope you never do. But, because all of our bags are crafted by the human hand an occasional issue may arise. We're all human. In that case bring your bag back to the retail store where you purchased it and we'll take it from there. Each retailer has a different store policy. We work with the retailer to make sure you're happy and that you stay a loyal Tano bag fan.

I have a Goody Messenger Bag which I purchased brand new from
a Tano Etailer. One of the rivets fell off which really made me
upset after three months of having the bag. I took it to three
cobblers and none had the tools necessary to repair my bag. I
finally called Tano and explained the problem. They advised me that
they had the tool and that I should send my bag to them for repair.
I sent it in and I received my bag last week and it is repaired perfectly.

Unless you got it super cheap, I would ask for a refund. Sexbombs are for sale everywhere. I had a problem with an irregular VVG I got on eBay that was listed as NWT. I had to file a paypal dispute, but I did get a refund. Good luck!

I had a similar experience and they were so nice about fixing it. (Also, they must have cleaned it, because it looked gorgeous when I got it back.) I'd say, contact the seller and see if she'd make any concession helping you ship back to tano for the repair.

Default Thanks, everyone!

The seller was really great and has offered me a refund. But, yes, I did get a really good deal on this bag as I used the live.com 25% cashback and my eBay coupon. And, I really love this bag so I hate to return it and risk not being able to buy a similar one. I contacted Tano and they are willing to repair it for me, so I think that's the option I'm going to pursue (it's a rivet that fell off of mine, too). Thanks so much to all of you who responded. As I mentioned, I've been reading your posts for a while and have fallen in love with Tano bags thanks to you (the photos are so awesome!).
