I know that Tano is working on their Spring 2009 colors now and I thought it would be fun for us to give them some ideas. Since we are going into summer and our heads are in the sun now, so to speak...
Which shade of each color do you think Tano should offer for NEXT spring??? (feel free to suggest repeats if you have a favorite) Here is my try: red: soft faded, earthy red- like the color of saffron orange: apricot AGAIN!!! yellow: mustard (Fall 2006) AGAIN!!! green: pear green, or a bright green olive blue: pool was tdf but maybe darken it one shade? purple: dunno- lilac? pink: I love ballet slipper pink or a dark berry pink or fuschia brown: I loved the old boot brown the best. black: of course white: love it for summer! Any shade natural: pale dove grey?

It would be neat to see a kelly green and a lighter, caramel type of brown shade.

I would like to see a lavender and a grass green (like the Coach color grass). A rose color which would be the color of Sedona Sunset would
also be nice. I do love the pool color and would keep in in the lineup, that color should not be changed. |

I think I would like to see a yellow, but maybe a "banana" yellow.
My other suggestions all seem to have been take, for instance: carmel or butterscotch. So, I must be in the yellow hue frame of mind. Also, I must be thinking of food.

blue - I'd like to a see a blue more in the purple range than the green range. Like Youngster's cornflower suggestion, or a periwinkle.
orange - Something a bit lighter and yellowy, like a pansy. green - Both pear and a true lime sound lovely. red - I love your saffron idea TE. I would also love to see a repeat of Bordeaux, but it's not very spring-like! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'd like to see a really beautiful, rich turquoise.
I think lavender is too pastel for my tastes but I'd definitely like to see some more purple. Maybe with a bit of an electric hue to it. The cornflower/periwinkle sounds amazing! |

For purple, my mind goes to my neighbour's passionale tulips, which are so beautiful right now.

TE, I'm stealing your rainbow list idea :)
red: Cherry lip-gloss red orange: A tangerine -- sort of like this season's apricot, but a bit lighter and more neutral yellow: A daffodil yellow, incidentally named "Daffodil" green: A bright emerald blue: A gorgeous, deep blue-green purple: Iris purple pink: A mid-tone, bright carnation pink brown: A saddle or caramel color black: Maybe a blue-tinged black? white: How about eggshell? natural: A light tan or buff-pink color |
