But, I think I may have purchased a fake...from a local store no less...at full price. My "tano" tag on the inside pocket is teeny (maybe an inch square) and only says "Tano". I didn't think Tanos were faked. Ugh.

I'll try to figure out how to post a pic so you guys can see. My kids are driving me crazy at the moment, so it most likely won't be until tonight.
No ....your bag is very very very likely NOT a fake. Tano is moving away from the graffiti tag to a small inner tag. My Baby Daddy has one of those types of tags.

No, Crystalina.....you'd be obsessed if you carried them both at the same time!

Thanks to you both, as well, for making me feel better. I personally (as I know many tPF'ers agree) do not believe in supporting the fake bag industry, so I felt horrified that (a) I was taken, and (b) I inadvertently supported that industry. Glad to hear that I didn't. Whew!

Nite nite, my friends!

I officially became a member of this club at 5:38 Central Time with the addition of a Black Boogie Bucket to my Tano Family! I currently have VVGG in Green, a Lauren in Red and a Butane Jane in Dark Brown. I think it might be time to take some pics...kinda like a family photo! My husband said that I was so excited when I got the Boogie that I should put a sign out in the yard that says "It's a New Bag!" I thought that was pretty funny and a good idea :)

I'm so jealous of you girls who got the Boogie Bucket in Beaujolais. I only discovered Tano last season, and got a Blossom Buddy in Blueprint Blue and the Kitty Crowbar in Congo Green. I love them both, but the Beaujolais Boogie feels like the one that got away.

I've been scoping out a used one, but no luck. I'm wondering how the new Pomegranate will compare, but it seems more of an orange-red than a blue-red.

The tag on my French Nanny is a small white square, frankly I like the old style tags better. Oh well, it's just a tag and at least you know your bag is not fake.

Here are my two Tano Boogie Buckets. I have a Lawn Green and a
Watermelon pink. I do have four Tano Bags and I love my Boogie's
the most. It is a really functional bag for me.

Broccoli, yum!
For those of you considering to invest in a Boogie... It is the most comfortable bag on the shoulder! Aside from the aesthetics of this bag, I would say that its second best feature is the strap! The under part of the strap (where it contacts the shoulder) is made of a suede-like material that creates a sort of adhesion to the garment or the bare skin, friction, if you will. So it never falls off!

And they compliment each other perfectly!
