Smile The Bandaid Smell!
Just a random question. What does everyone think of the bandaid smell?

When I first received my first Tano, oddly I loved it. I used to always inhale it! I don't know why. I didn't even think my first tano smelled like bandaids as others had commented back then but now with my newest tano, I definitely smell it.

But this time around the smell seems a bit stronger, almost more chemical which might just be my imagination. The bandaid smell is much stronger this time and I don't know what to think of it. Perhaps I don't like it as much this year because I have gotten a whiff of other bags like BE? Not really sure. I still have an urge to smell the bag even though I don't like the smell as much as last year. It is like some weird, crazy attraction to bandaids. Sort of how I like smelling books, fresh laundry, and weird things like that I know, you girls prob think I'm lol

I wonder how big a factor for you girls smell is? Mine plays a bit of a role because I love yummy smelling leather! I could probably identify a bag, eyes closed by the smell!

So does everyone like or dislike?

I love the smell, but even if I didn't like it, I don't think it would bother me too much because it goes away within a couple weeks.

I actually really like the smell of the crunch leather. My Miss Whoever You R doesn't have a smell and I was a bit sad about that LOL. To me it doesn't smell like bandaids but I haven't smelled a bandaid in a while. Maybe I should smell some and see LOL

HAHA! I saw your thread and grabbed my Romantic, buried my head in it and took a big sniff. No bandaid smell now but I do remember when I first got it and pulled it out of the box that it smelled slightly plasticky. Now it just smells leathery (not roast-beefy leathery but a nice mild leathery).

My French Nanny smelled like bandaids when I first got it, I had it in the hall closet on the top shelf where I keep my bags and when I'd open the closet door you could really smell it! I've never smelled that on a bag before but luckily it quickly faded and I don't think it's there at all now. I guess it's some kind of chemical that wears off? I tend to be sensitive to smells so that could be another reason why I really noticed it. It wouldn't deter me from buying another since it's only temporary.

hmmm my old wallet and boogie bucket has a mellowed out smell. I thought perhaps this season the smell was stronger. The smell doesn't bother me either to ever stop buying tano. I smell this smell from far away though. Of course only I'd notice!

Wow! I have a pretty good sniffer, and my French Nanny didn't have a band-aid smell when I first got her.....only a faint leather smell. I'm sure it won't last. How about a dryer sheet placed inside for a day or two....

I buried my head in my Mom Job in the middle of the store to smell it, I'm sure the staff thought I was a complete lunatic!

I don't think mine smelled like band aids, just a nice leathery smell. Not the strongest 'smelling' bag I've ever bought........

I'm gonna go home a smell a band aid now to check/compare! I am sure my husband will think I'm off my rocker...........lol

I don't actually think that they smell like band-aids so I've never said anything about it. But the funny part is when I opend my new sex bomb my 5 yo dd said "it smells like my barbie band-aids". It was so cute!

I LOVE the smell of Band-Aids. I just took my Anti Em out of the closet this week and it still smells delicious!

Weird CP. I think it's just my nose changing over time. Before I never thought my bag smelled like bandaids either. I was puzzled when people on the forum mentioned it and I thought it just smelled like nice leather. It wasn't till this year. Perhaps my sniffer has gotten better since last year lol I don't have a problem with the smell though.
